Part One - The Endless Slumber
Notes from the Editor:
I have used the English names because I have only seen the dubbed TV episodes of Sailor Moon. To avoid confusion for myself I found it easier to write about what I know best. The Second Part will be out very soon.
Serena stifled a yawn and glanced at her clock, "Six AM, it's too early to get up."
She promptly fell back to sleep.
"Serena! Serena!" Luna called her from a slumber so peaceful that she woke with a start. A dazed expression adorned her face, causing a row of giggles to arise from Mina and Artemis. Luna sighed with exasperation.
"Serena, you were supposed to meet us at the mall two hours ago!" Mina said hiding her grin anf choking back laughter.
Serena's eyes opened slightly. Sunlight poured through a small parting in her curtains, and hurt her eyes, she closed them tightly.
"Mina? What are you doing here?" Serena's speech was muffled by a hand thay smothered her face and wiped her eyes. She stuck one leg out from underneath her bed spread and tested the floor with her toes.
She turned and glanced at her clock. "Six AM! It's too early to get up." She snuggled back down and returned into a sleep so heavy that furthur attempts to wake her were futile.
Well, how's that! Mina thought shocked at her friends rude behaviour, and yet hardly surprised at it either.
"Oh well, I guess we aren't going shopping after all Artemis!" Mina said as she turned to exit the room.
"I'm sorry Mina!" Luna did her best to apologize for Serena's impertinence.
"It's not your fault Luna."
Mina left the room, closing the door behind her, she paused in the hallway and thought to herself, that's funny, I'm sure her clock had the right time.
A small white cat dazed on a pillow, his face illuminated by the light of a communicatior.
"Oh good sir! I just don't know what to do! All my Catnip has been, STOLEN! I'm weary with grief, oh, you have to help me Artemis!" Fifie sounded desperate, I knew I had to help her, she was a doll. A real doll! It had to be the work of the Dog brothers... "Don't you worry Fifie, I'm going to get your catnip back, every last bottle of it!" "Oh Artemis! You're my hero!" Artemis took Fifie in his arms, leaning her back she gazed up into his eyes.
"Artemis!" Luna's voice came through the speaker with such a shout that Artemis fell off the pillow.
"OWOWOW! Central Control, please state the pass... Luna!"
"Artemis, theres something wrong with Serena, I can't wake her!"
"She is still sleeping? It's ten PM!"
"Something is very wrong, I think it's the work of the Negaverse! You must send the Sailor Scouts!"
"I'll do so right away!"
"Venus Star Power!"
"Mars Star Power!"
"Mercury Star Power!"
"Jupiter Star Power!"
"Luna! What's happened?" Mars asked, concern shading the tone of her voice.
"Sailor Scouts! Thank goodness your here! It's Serena, she can't be woken, and just after you left today Venus, a strange feeling came over me, I think it may be the Negaverse!" Luna jumped up onto Serena's bed, calling her in an attempt to wake her.
Serena stirred. she turned over and glanced at her clock."Six AM, it's too early to get up."
"What?!" Venus's concern could be clearly seen, and matched that which Luna was expressing. "That's what she said earlier today!" Venus uttered.
"But her clock say's ten PM, why does she think it's six in the morning?" Jupiter thought aloud.
"It's the clock!" Mercury voiced, "the clock is from the Negaverse!"
A beam of light shot out from the clock face, throwing the girls to the floor, and black smoke slowly oozed and formed into the shape of a woman.
"I am the droid of the clock!" the woman spoke with a tone so cruel. And now you will be thrown into the void of times end! Feel my wrath!" Her hands moved swiftely in an inconsistent pattern and she laughed a neurotic laughter. Her hands kept moving faster and faster until they became a whir of colour, seeming to emit their own light in the almost pitch dark room. The black smoke that is her essence rose from the droit of the clock and surrounded the Scouts, surrendering them completely helpless.
"What's happening?" Jupiter screamed, as they were flung into a void of nothingness..
