I grew up in
Kansas City,
MO,
USA;
but went to college in
Los Angeles,
CA.
I graduated from
Pomona College
in 1984 with a BA in
Physics.
During my four years in school, I became interested in
Japan
and decided to study the Japanese language.
I went to Japan in June, 1984 to attend
International Christian University (ICU)
and stayed in
Tokyo
for 15 years.
Present...
I started working for
AT&T
Japan in 1986. I've supported a variety of products and learned a good deal about
UNIX
and voice & data networks over the years. Most recently my time has been devoted to
Voice & Video over IP (VoIP)
technology.
