There's a really cool new anime being released this December (I think) in America called "Senkaiden Houshin Engi." I don't know if fansubs are still available; my copy of the series is the original Japanese release, which happens to have English subtitles, albiet badly done ones. So what led me to get the original Japanese DVDs of an anime I knew virtually nothing about? So glad you asked! Earlier, I had received fansubs for "Excel Saga," and the end of the first tape happened to have one fansubbed episode of Senkaiden Houshin Engi on it... and I saw this freaky looking dude... he talked... and I thought... that sounds a lot like Xelloss/ Akira Ishida... I looked it up the next day and sure enough, it was him. So that was my main motivation. Anyway, Senkaiden Houshin Engi is a fun show, as far as I've watched it. So once it's released, you may want to check it out. It's being released under the title "Soul Hunter." (Ugh)
