Last Updated October 5, 1999: added an alternative CD cover for the soundtrack to the movie "The Mummy" (section: "out-of-the-blue edits", scroll down until you see the ***NEW!*** sign)
Every once in a while I have a crazy, wacky inspiration. That inspiration is to take an existing picture and mangle and change and edit it to my liking. (no, nothing perverted) :) So here is my small but growing gallery of these pictures that I, Angel Mercury edited with the computer. ^_^ Enjoy! (but please do not steal!!! editing is hard work too you know) Click on the thumbnail to view the entire picture.
These edits were done with an old program called "Paint" (I believe it comes with Windows95/98), not Photoshop or anything money-costing and complicated like that. Like they say - make do with what you've got. :P
HOLIDAY EDITS
Most of these images are holiday-related and were intended for use as virtual postcards (which they were used as on various sites). ^_^v As usual, click on thumbnail.
'OUT-OF-THE-BLUE' EDITS |
These are pictures I edited for no particular reason or occasion - just 'cause I felt like it. :) Enjoy!
- Do you like the original "StarTrek" series (TOS)? Do you like anime, in particular "Magic Knights Rayearth" and do you like Mokona the magic bunny in it? Did you watch the "StarTrek: TOS" episodes "Trouble With Tribbles" or "StarTrek: Deep Space 9" (DS9) "Trials and Tribble-ations"? If you answered "yes" to any of that, you'll understand this edited pic. ^_- You know how in "Trouble with Tribbles", Captain Kirk almost sits on a Tribble in his command chair? Then he holds the Tribble because he doesn't know what else to do with it? Well, now he's holding a plush Mokona doll! /^_-\ I'm evil aren't I? Heeheehee... (Mokona doll made by Aric Stewart) (sorry is this picture is blurry...it was a screen-capture off TV)
***NEW***
- Here is my alternative CD cover to the soundtrack of one of my fav adventure movies, "The Mummy" (which I highly recommend watching!). Now don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the original CD cover! It's just that, well, I'd rather see my two favorite characters from the movie - Rick O'Connell (played by Brendan Fraser) and Evelyn Carnarvon (played by Rachel Weisz) - every time I grab the CD to listen to the soundtrack, rather than seeing the sandy face of Imhotep the Mummy. (no offense to Imhotep or the people who designed the CD cover. :P )
So, when I had nothing better to do, I kind of fiddled around with my fav picture of these two, and now I have a CD case which doesn't freak me out every time I take it off the shelf to listen to the soundtrack. :)
(this picture edited on Oct. 5, 1999. I did the funky letters with the help of Cooltext.com. The music on this CD was composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith.)

Well, I think that's it for the edits. :P I hope you liked them! And as my crazy mind is still being, well, crazy, expect more edits in the future. ^_- All pictures edited by me, AngelMercury. PLEASE do not steal them! I spent hours working on getting these edits to be perfect! If you want to put them on your page, please email me.
Now for the legal stuff: "RurouniKenshin" and all its characters were created by Watsuki Nobuhiro. "Magic Knights Rayearth" and Mokona were created by CLAMP. "StarTrek", all its characters and fuzzy animals were created by Gene Roddenberry and belong to Paramount. And holidays were invented by lots of people. :P Images edited by me, AngelMercury.
