***NEW!!!***

Yes, what you see here is an actual, wooden cutting-board. Of course, it shouldn't be used to cut food on anymore, because it was painted by me in acrylic paints, in the traditional, black-red-gold-green Russian art style. It's purely decorative now. ^_^

***NEW!!!***

A round cutting-board this time, same Russian style. Well I bought it as a cutting-board, but now it is better used as a hanging painting, because that is what it is. Medium: acrylics on wood.

The goldfish are part of a Russian legend, which says that if you catch a Golden Fish (NOT a "goldfish"), it will grant you three wishes. Hey, I painted three fish, does that count? :)

A chipmunk. (Based on a photograph by Esther Schmidt in a 1998 calendar) Medium: watercolours & ink.

Oh yeah, the scanner scanned it a bit yellower than it should have been... >_<

A pika. No, not Pikachu from the popular anime "Pokemon", but a pika - yes, such animals exist, and this might be what the cute Pikachu in the anime was based on. I swear, these animals may be the most self-proud little critters on earth. :) Not because of Pikachu, but just because of the way they look.

Based from a picture originally drawn by Claudia Nice in the book "Painting Nature in Pen & Ink with Watercolor", and that's exactly how I painted it. :) Oh yeah, the scanner scanned it a bit yellower than it should have been... >_<

A brown frog sitting on a brown leaf.

Based from a picture originally drawn by Claudia Nice in the book "Painting Nature in Pen & Ink with Watercolor", and that's exactly how I painted it.

Eowyn - a character from J.R.R.Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" book.

This particular picture is based from another painting called "Eowyn at the Gates of Meduseld" (I think) by someone else...

I have no idea who though. Help! It was on one of the Tolkien Calendars...

In Art class (Grade 10) we were asked to draw a person from a magazine...this is who I drew.

(I have no idea who it is though...she was on an ad in a magazine ^^;;)

A marten holding a dead squirrel - drawn in charcoal, from life.
Magnolia blossoms - drawn from life.
A sea-coast with a few 'gifts of the sea' lying on the shore. Drawn from life by me (Nadya Neklioudova) and my mother, Tatiana Neklioudova.
This is my colour-penciled duplication of a painting called "Forest Gothic" by Russian artist Konstantin Vasilyev. I drew this for a school Art project... Here is the original painting. What does the picture's atmosphere or 'feel' remind you of? To me it seems a lot like a natural temple...
In that Art project (which I drew the picture above for), we were also required to draw our own picture but in the artist's style... as I chose to research Vasilyev for my project, I drew this picture in colour-pencils. The idea was completely my mom's though, I just drew it... What do you think of when you look at this picture? ^.^

Who else but... my cat Stanley! After drawing so many things, I just had to draw my cutie kitty. :)

These beautiful graphics are from Moyra's Web Jewels.

All of this was drawn by me, Nadya N. aka Angel Mercury. Except for one picture (the seashell one) where my mom helped me. Please, don't take them without my permission!!
