"Sea Waves" - a poem by AngelMercury, written on March 8, 1999

I stroll the seashore,

Listening for breezes of the future.

I put a shell to my ear,

Hearing the voices of the past.

The waves tell of many things,

They bring roses and broken glass.

Talk to the sea - it whispers,

Too many memories of things past.

There is a trail to the setting sun,

Teasing from the cold waves.

A ripple lights up the dark,

A faint reminder of future tides.
