Fire Senshi's Favorite Episodes

Well, since I am a fan of Hino Rei, most my choices are mostly those that involve her. (Surprised? ^_^) I have so many favorite moments, but these are just some of the episodes.

Sailormars appears....

Who could ever forget the first time Hino Rei appeared? Her face revealed a distinct confidence, looking at you with those sharp purple eyes. She was dressed up in her red miko robes and her dark hair swayed with the wind... Hino Rei is such a head-turner! I was totally amazed with her abilities, more so that she turned out to be the senshi of fire! From the very moment she came, Sailormars displayed her bravery in destroying the youma!

What can I say? I was simply spellbounded by that display of fire and strength! And she's very pretty, too! Everything in this episode was done... completely with Sailormars's flair!

A sad, sad story....

An unforgettable story to a lot of Bishoujo senshi fans. One of the greatest things in the first season. Guess what it is....

Naru and Nephrite. He meant to use her for the Dark Kingdom, but in the end, she won his trust, while he won her admiration. Up until the very end where Nephrite gallantly fought the Dark Kingdom and saved her, and she was crying helplessly for him. As if at that moment, we could all sympathize with Naru's anguish. And even full of unanswered questions till the end....

A very impressive battle.

The sailor senshi vs. the Ayakashi sisters of the Black Moon. What is most impressive about this battle is that it the spectacular entrance of the sailor senshi. Chibiusa and Sailormoon are in trouble, almost surrounded by the enemy, until they came at the right time. Such a beautiful face-off! Each senshi facing their alter-ego. It's Sailormars vs. Cooan. The battle scenes were so good, and the "Ai no Senshi" theme really added to the excitement!

Yuuichirou.

Well, I love all the episodes that have Yuuichirou! But this episode is really like who he really is--funny and inlove! We will really see how genuine his concern for his beloved Rei here. He's willing to sacrifice a lot for her happiness! You can't help but feel for him and wish that Rei would give him a chance! (And actually, in this episode, more close-ups of Yuuichirou is revealed. Showing that he is really handsome under all that hair.)

The battle against Mistress 9.

In the second to the last episode of S, from what could be the real finale, the Inner and the Outer senshi battle the enemy separately...but in a phenomenal way! A totally impressive show of the Inners when they formed a barrier to ward off the legions of daimons, and the Outer senshis' feat in defeating Tomoe. The battle scenes are just great, especially the Inner senshi stand against the attacking daimons. Other than that, the end was really a heartwarming finale where the senshi find an ally in their supposed enemy, who was a sailor senshi, Sailorsaturn.

The Inner Senshi's Super Henshin!

My favorite Super S episode. All the senshi were wrapped beautifully in glitter as they became Super Sailors. It was also amazingly shown how Pegasus came to their aide. The detailed animation showed the four Inner senshi in close-up as they saw their henshin sticks being replaced, and later they all beautifully transformed.
