When the time came for the senshi of fire to awaken.
This is not a retelling of the episode but simply indicating the key points. This is based on mostly on the anime, since there is lack of manga pics.

A doomed bus?Some students who boarded a certain bus disappeared mysteriously. Rei was wondering why her powers didn't work. It usually did. In the manga, this was also the case. She thought she wrongly sensed something. It seemed however, that what she felt and what Usagi feared was really true. |
| Rei was wondering before that Jadeite was the source of evil events, and her suspicions were confirmed when she meditated with the fire. In the manga, there was a youma after them and defeated by the senshi. Later, when Rei became unconscious and she was admired by Jadeite because of her beauty, however. . . . |  |
| Jadeite had captured them, still wondering about the determined Shinto priestess. In the anime, Jadeite and Rei only had a confrontation. Luna thought at first that with Rei's good looks and fighting power, that maybe she was the princess, but later urged Rei to transform seeing she had the sign of Mars on her forehead. She was said to be destined to be the senshi of Mars with the power over fire. And as Luna instructed, Rei shouted, Mars Power Make Up!, rings of fire were wrapped around her so she became Sailormars. |  |
| In this scene, Sailormars acknowledges her identity and proceeds to use her powers on the attacking youma (monster). (It seemed that she already knows how to attack.) It proved in the anime how great Sailormars' powers were since she was the one who finished it. In the manga, you will see the same picture on the left, with a different victim in Sailormars' fire. . . because it was Sailormars who killed Jadeite with her Fire Soul. |  |
