My one and only..Leon Lai

I am so sorry to be saying this but the time has come for my to put away my webpage days. For those of you that have just stopped by and for those that have been returning fans, I sincerely apologize from the bottom of my heart. I know that I don't have the time to put into this Leon page-he deserves better and you deserve better. I started this page in 1997 and the things I learned and the person I became from this page, I will take with me always. I hate doing this but I will keep the page up for any fans that happen to come across Leon and hopefully they will learn to love Leon like I did and always will. This is my Leon..sigh, the brightest star of them all. He is the youngest and tallest of the four heavenly kings. (The four heavenly kings are the four best male singers in Hong Kong. It consists of Leon, Aaron, Andy Lau, and Jackie Cheung.) Not only that but I think he is the handsomest of them all! =) With his make-you-melt smile, deep brown eyes, and velvety voice, how can a girl resist?

Leon is a Sagittarius, a horse in Chinese zodiac. He is now 31, turning 32 this coming December 11. Refer to his song "I Was Born In Beijing" for his birthplace. Leon is 5'11"-6' tall, he has three nicknames that I know of..one nickname is 'wah-wah' (think babies crying) I think his mom called him that until his father decided that he needed a manlier name..so Lai-Ming he became. In mandarin it is Lee-Ming, and in English, we call him Leon. (I think he got the name Leon from a college profesor.) Another nickname is 'fay chai ming' which means 'fat boy ming'..I don't think that's very nice though. His other nickname is cute 'Lai Ming chai'..kind of like 'little boy Leon'. Those are his three nicknames but my cousin and I call him a nickname just between us..'ming ming chai'. =) We think it's cuter than the rest.. Leon went to school in England for a while, then went back to Hong Kong where he sang in a few contests before becoming one of the most famous Chinese singers in the world. I heard that Leon is making some 8 digit numbers (wow!) and loves to drive. He has 3 convertibles and he says his favorite people are his fans worldwide..heehee, that would be me :o)

One of the main reasons I love him so is because of his generosity. He has done so much charity work it makes me proud. He was appointed "International Charity Youth Embassador" by Unicef in 1996. He has raised millions, maybe even billions, of dollars for UNICEF and has done all sorts of things to raise it. Leon has had charity walks, charity concerts, and selling items (as a fundraiser) like chocolate, cell phones, and dolls. Leon fans worldwide are very supportive of him and help him emotionally as well as physically. He also went to Rwanda (which is in Africa) for charity work in 1996. All of his charity makes my eyes water..what a wonderful person he must be..I am so proud.

Leon is suspected of having a girlfriend, but the girl in the picture always seems to change. From Michelle Reis (Lee Kai Yan) to Anita Mui to Chow Hui Mei..I can't keep up! @_@ Also, rumors about a Korean girl, but I don't think they were true. When the time is right, I'm sure Leon will find the right girl and if not, hey, I'll always be free and waiting with open arms!! *lol* =D

Leon is a very talented singer and actor, or so I think. He's been singing for a while and I have almost all of his albums. Lately he's been changing his style, I'm not sure if I like the change. Give me a while. (I'm not one for change) Well, no matter what, he'll always be my Leon, right? I haven't seen any recent movies by him (unfortunately) the last thing I saw with him was the TVB series "Class of Distinction". I thought he was so cute in that!! Oh, and I saw "Sweet Honey"/"Tian Mi Mi" on VCD, he was exceptionally cute in that, but there were a few scenes that shocked me..but he looked like a *very* good kisser! ;o) I have one more thing to say, I think that Leon looks better everyday. He's gotten older since when I first saw him and I think he looks great! I think that maturity and age has added a *look* to him, he looks more handsome and professional every day! *^_^*
