CLAMP is a group of four women manga artists/authors. There used to be more people in this group, but for various reasons it's thinned out and now there only are four: Mick Nekoi, Mokona Apapa, Nanase Ohkawa, and Satsuki Igarashi.
CLAMP has got to be one of the best creators of manga I have ever come across. Their storylines are pretty original and their artwork is beautiful. True, like many manga artists, their characters may look similar to one another, but there's a huge variety in any single story. Plus, this gives them their unique style.
These women seem to be pretty successful...some of the most popular manga you've probably heard of are by them: Wish, 20 Menso ni Onegai, X, Magic Knights Rayearth, Tokyo Babylon, Rex, CLAMP Campus Detectives, Miyuki-chan in Wonderland, Card Captor Sakura, Clover, Watashi no sukinahito, RgVeda...the list goes on, but eh...i don't know any more. They also started out jointly doing Cluster, but I don't know if they are still doing that. Anyways, I have Wish, 20 Menso, X, Magic Knights Rayearth, Watashi no sukinahito, Clover, and Cluster, so you'll eventually be hearing about all of them. But that might take a while. =)
Anyways, yeah...just wanted to give you a brief intro about this wonderful group. OH yeah and to say that all the manga I'm talking about are copyright of them and all that other stuff. Why would I want to pass it off as my own? It's so popular I wouldn't be able to fool anyone, just land a whopping lawsuit and look stupid. and...yeah, okay.
CLAMP 2000--plenty of stuff about different CLAMP works...includes X, Magic Knights Rayearth, Wish, Miyuki-chan in Wonderland...and whatnot.
*CLAMP Links Guide*--Basically the same stuff as the link above, I'm not really sure about either cuz it's been a while since I've gone on a major anime/manga search. They should both be pretty good links for CLAMP manga...though, I'm leaning towards this one cuz it looks very complete.
go back!!!!
