And i thought Clover was confusing.
When i started Cluster, i realized i didn't even KNOW what confusing meant.
Cluster starts with book #0 which is a guide to the millions upon millions of characters and places in the series. Words fail me when I try to explain this series, and no books have come out (that i know of) in the past few years or so..or maybe longer.
The basic concept is this: there are three sisters living on this central planet...heaven-type thing....with like 12 surrounding planets. they are princesses, of course. on a training expedition, the eldest sets out...but does not return. the second sister has bad health and cannot go in search for the eldest, but the yougest one, Karena (okay, that's the way it sounded to me...she's the peppy-looking blonde chick who looks like she's imitating sailormoon hair) has plenty of energy and sets out to find her eldest sister. She keeps being presented with rotten dreams about some weird dark, sinister man with her sister.....and then she meets this guy who has this strange, troubled past and who appears basically out of nowhere...and like, he has these weird phases where he assumes another personality. sometimes he's nice, and sometimes he gets really evil-looking and tries to seduce her (he looks very cheerful in the picture...he's the black-haired one who's got girls hanging all over him)...and it's just very strange...i still haven't figured out who the girl with the dark hair is...she's not someone good though, that's for sure...and the blue-haired guy has some sort of magical/psychic power, and he's got a massive crush on Karena. the sd guy with blond hair is this knight-type person who ends up travelling with them and is very playboy-esque in that he hits on every woman he meets (except Karena of course). *whew* it's the most confusing thing, especially with my rotten Chinese reading skills.
this is mainly written/drawn by an ex-CLAMP member, Tamayo Akiyama. her works tend to be pretty warped, as anyone will be able to tell after reading Mouryou Kiden or something..., which is a three-volume manga series about this weird, twisted thing...like, talk about incest...
so anyway, i don't know of many places with Cluster-related stuff. check some manga/anime search engines or something...good luck finding anything. *tired jen bows head*
