Red Dream. Black Dream.
Red Dream. Blood Dream. Deadly Dream. Or is it a dream? Did it truly happen?
Or is it a twisted and torturous dream? I don't know anymore. Only one
thing is certain.
The Black Dream. Terrible Dream. Painful Dream. Everlasting darkness and
sorrow. Nothing can wake me from the Black Dream. I'm chained to the monstrous
blackness. Forced to listen to the screams of others who share the Black
Dream.
Ugly Dream. Memories of a distant past. Or are the memories? Are they a
part of the the Black Dream? Or do they belong to the Red Dream?
Blood. Everywhere there is blood. Whose blood!?! It has stained my shirt,
my hands, and my face. Where did it come from? Wait a minute.... where
is she!?! Are you saying that I...!? Did I...? NO! Absolutely nit! She
is my everything, my sunshine, my reason for living! I would never harm
her!! No! She cannot be dead! She would not leave me here!! She would never
do that to me!!!
The rattling of chains brings me back to the Black Dream. The horrible,
demonic, Black dream. For a brief moment, I am safe from the Red Dream.
The bloody ... torturous .... Red ....No! I'm slipping ... slipping back
into the Red Dream! Save me!! Save me from the Red Dream!! Help! Save me!!
Save....
No sir. I don't know who killed her. I would never hurt her! She meant
too much to me! She was my everything, my sunshine, my .....
What? What do you mean 'Where was I last night'? I was with her! We went
to the orchard, and we ...
What do you mean 'How did all this blood get all over me'? I already told
you I have no idea!! If I knew, I'd surely tell you! The last thing I remember
about last night is when I asked her to be my wife, and she said :::///what
did she say?///::: ....
Why must you question me so? I've lost my everything, my sunshine, my reason
for ...
What!?!? You're arresting me for murder!?! No!! I'd never hurt her! Never!!
Never!! Don't do this to me!! No!!!!
Once again, the Black Dream has saved me from the Red Dream. Or... had
the Red Dream saved me from the Black Dream?
It doesn't matter. I'm forever bound to both dreams. Both unjust and cruel
dreams. But... what have I done to deserve these dreams? What started these
dreams? What....
Yes. I love you too, Calesca. You are my everything, my sunshine, my reason
for living! I want.... to marry you, dearest Calesca. I want to be with
you for eternity, my darling. What? The ... Prince? You two are... betrothed?
Why!? He said ... what!?! Oh Calesca. I'd never do that to you. Never.
He's trying to scare you. Don't listen to him.
Huh? What's that noise? Shh! I think.... I think someone is watching us.
I think that....
Blackness. A stone flung from the sling of jealous Prince Daedalus himself
struck me upon the head. I have no idea what transpired when I was unconscious.
But when I awoke, precious, divine, golden haired Calesca was dead. It
was then... when the Black Dream began.
And ... the Red Dream.
Guard!! Come quickly! I'm innocent! Daedalus is the one you want! The Prince
did it! He took the life of my everything, my sunshine, my reason for living!
He should be forced to rot here! Not me!!! Daedalus is guilty!!! Daedalus
is guilty !!!!!!!
No matter how much I call, no-one will come. That is the cruelty of the
Black Dream. I begin to sob, each of my tears shed in mourning for the
beautiful Calesca, and in loathing for the demon, Prince Daedalus.
If I ever get out of here, I'll kill him with my bare hands. Then, they'll
have a reason to keep me locked up.
