WHAT IS ANIME????
you ask. The answer to that question is very easy: Anime,
also known as Japanese Animation or, less rarely, Japanimation,
is a form of artwork mostly used in movies or TV shows. Some famous
movies/TV shows are Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, Ranma 1/2, and others.
In my opinion, anime is among the world's best animation.
Another important part of anime you should know about is Manga.
Manga is the Japanese equivelent of a comic, and, in turn, most anime
is essentially based on Manga, with a few exceptions. If you would like
a sampling of manga, most of the pictures in the site are based on manga.
Anime is a rapidly growing theme, and you will see much more
in the future. Also, people used to think anime was only for kids. Now,
this is entirely untrue. There is anime on comedy, action, romance; on almost
any subject. I hope this gave you some of the meaning of anime.
