Sailor Mercury!

In the English version of Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury's real name is Ami Anderson. I have seen her name spelled both "Ami" and "Amy," but I like to try to keep the English names as close to the original Japanese names as I can.

Ami was a new student at Serena's school, Crossroads Junior High. Ami is incredibly intelligent and very quiet -- not really Serena's type! -- but Serena realized that Ami did not have many friends and decided to try to get to know her. Serena invited Ami to go to the arcade, where Ami impressed the other kids with her ability to play the Sailor V game, especially since she had never played video games before! Luna discovered that Ami had very strong energy, which led her to believe that Ami might be in league with the Negaverse. But when the real Negaverse villian revealed herself at Ami's after-school computer class, Luna realized that Ami was actually Sailor Mercury. Luna gave Ami a transformation pen that allowed her to become Sailor Mercury, and she assisted Sailor Moon in defeating the Nega-trash with her Mercury Bubbles.
