"I remember when I look at
the fog..." thinks Minako. "My still young planet, covered in the fog
of thick sulfuric acid from the volcanic activity. Surrounded by the
sulfur fog, my Magellan Castle. And the beautiful morning glow of my
other planet..."- Code Name Wa: SailorV manga (thanks to Alex Glover)
Although the senshi were
formally introduced as princesses in the later part of the manga (act
volume), Minako-chan already knew that she was Princess Venus in the
SailorV manga.
When Artemis told her of her
real identity, she found it hard to believe thinking that she was just
an ordinary teenager, how then could she be of royal blood? But then,
Artemis informed her that the Aino Minako that she is now, is an incarnation
of the goddess Venus.
|
At
first, Artemis was rather surprised that the incarnation of
the beautiful goddess would turn out to be the rather "unlady-like"
Minako-chan. He often complained to "the Boss" since
Minako-chan was hard to train and sometimes, even, she had second
thoughts about being a sailor senshi. But then, Artemis could
not deny at all that she also displayed characteristics from
Venus.
One time,
when he peeked at Minako while she was bathing (he later got
a scratch from Luna, don't worry), he saw for himself just how
beautiful she was becoming. She looked more like the goddess
herself.
So, how
can you deny that she is a princess and of royal blood? Can
you say that a princess can just be the "delicate"
type? Guess Venus was that and more...
|
Another
information about the Princess was that she had a Guardian fairy,
whom she is holding at the picture at the right. In the manga,
their Guardian Fairies first appeared in Act 41, when the senshi
transformed into their princess forms. The Guardian Fairies
told them to ask for power from their palaces to give to the
Holy Grail. Their power enabled them to destroy Neherenia and
Zirconia completely.
Besides
Princess Serenity, the other senshi proved themselves to be
worthy princesses of their planets. Other than that, we can
clearly see for ourselves just how beautiful they were, ne?
Venus'
beauty is not just because she was an incarnation of a goddess
but because of the light inside of her that brings out her natural
beauty.
