Card Captor Sakura Summary
The following is a translation of issue 13 of Card Captor Sakura That ran in "Nakayosi" #6, which was released June 1997 (We do not have issues 10 to 12, we will soon though! Sorry about this!)
Sakura is on the bus because Tomoyo called her over to her house. On her way Sakura starts talking to Kero-chan who is in her purse. The other people on the bus begin to look at her oddly as it appears that she is talking to either her purse or herself -^.^- When she arrives at Tomoyo’s, Tomoyo comes rushing out to meet her. Sakura is then shown around the rather LARGE house. (Tomoyo is VERY rich...) Tomoyo’s oka-sama meets Sakura and they all go off to have cake.
Back at Sakura’s house Touya is washing the car with Kinomoto-san. Yukito shows up at the house with food for the family(Uh huh, FOOD!) He immediately asks where Sakura-chan is (Cute! He looks so frantic! -^.^-) Touya tells him that Sakura has gone to her friends. So Yukito asks “Tomoyo-chan?” and Touya just nods his head like a goof.
Daidouji-san (oka-sama) then proceeds to tell Sakura and Tomoyo about Sakura’s mother, Sonomi. They were good friends when they were younger and spent a great deal of time together. (Sakura’s mother is really very beautiful, sooooooo pretty!) Although it is obvious that Sonomi was a big klutz! She could not walk two feet without falling!
One day when Daidouji-san and Sonomi-chan were together they noticed a baby bird had fallen from it’s nest. Sonomi being a soft hearted girl decided to climb the tree and place the baby bird back in it’s nest. Only Sonomi being such a klutz fell from the tree, right onto Kinomoto-san. She immediately asks him if he is all right. Instead of answering he asks her “Are you an angel?” (Cute! but the flash back ends there, unfortunately...)
At Sakura’s house Yukito is now raking the lawn while Touya and Kinomoto-san are doing yard work. Meanwhile Sakura, Tomoyo and Kero-chan are getting ready to try and capture another card, “The Shield”. So Sakura gets dressed in yet another kawaii outfit by Tomoyo while Tomoyo starts recording Sakura as she recaptures the card.
Back at Tomoyo’s house Sakura plans to put the card away but is interrupted by
Oka-sama, they think about Sonomi and how happy she was. Oka-sama grabs Sakura by the hand and pulls her out of the room. Tomoyo holds a little Keep-Sake in her hands and prepares to lock up a little Hope Chest.
