At the first part, Sakura introduces herself as a grade four elementary student who hates math but loves physical activities. She says that there is something not normal about her for she have to capture clow cards with her friend, Tomoyo and Kerberos. Now, she has competition and this was Li.
Now with the story, Sakura had been checking her shopping list if she had bought all the groceries. As she skate by, she saw that the peach blossoms are blooming for it is already spring. At home, Sakura shouted that she already have returned and that she had bought all the things needed. It was Sunday. Suddenly, Yukito came and greeted her. Sakura was shocked as to what he was doing there. Yukito told her that Touya cannot stand and he is at the porch. Yukito comment on how cute Sakura's rabbit hat was. Sakura saw his brother sitting with a cloth tied around his neck with some hair on it. Sakura asked as to what he was doing and Touya told her that he asked Yukito to cut his hair. This greatly surprised Sakura who was blushing. Touya wanted to save money so he asked Yukito to cut his hair and for Yukito, it is like a game. Sakura says to herself that it was a good idea to ask Yukito to cut hair for Yukito can do anything coz he is so smart. Sakura blushes with hearts all around as she think of Yukito.
Yukito finished cutting Touya's hair and Touya went in to get some tea. Yukito asked Sakura if she wants a haircut, too. Sakura was surprised by the offer. Yukito adds that maybe she should just go to a beauty parlor for she is a girl. Sakura told him that it is okay and she hope she won't bother him. Yukito asked if she is saying that he can cut her hair and Sakura kept on nodding. Then, Sakura sat on the chair as Yukito put the cloth around her. Yukito asked it is alright to cut a little at the back and Sakura, blushing said yes. Sakura told herself that she is so lucky that she might just die there. Touya came back with a tray of three cute cups of tea. Touya told Sakura that after the haircut, she have to sweep the floor and they have to fix the things for it is getting dark. Sakura, still blushing says that she will do anything. Yukito says that he will help, too. Then, the mysterious lady from the previous chapter came by and looks at the three. She smiled slightly at them.
In a store, Yamazaki and Chiharu were walking with holding hands. Then, Chiharu picked up a cute penguin doll saying that it is very cute. As she holds it, Yamazaki told her that there is an emperor penguin which can grow up to 170 cm that is about as tall as a man. Chiharu says that he is lying. Yamazaki, laughing says that it is true and that because it is an emperor, it can grow that big. He told her that the tallest one he saw was 3 m. Chiharu then believed a little. As Yamazaki kept on talking, Chiharu saw Sakura. As Chiharu called her, this Sakura made all the stuffed toys to fall from the display. 'Sakura' then ran away as the puzzled Chiharu tried to call her name.
At school, Sakura happily greets everyone. Tomoyo asked as to why she was happy and Sakura answered that something really great happened yesterday. Chiharu asked if she was near the stuffed toy department yesterday. Sakura told her that she just went shopping then she went home. Chiharu was relieved and says that it seems that she saw the wrong person. Sakura asked her as to what was that about. Chiharu told her that she saw someone very much alike Sakura. Tomoyo asked her if she had cut her hair. Sakura, blushing furiously, said yes. Naoko asked as to why she was blushing so red. Sakura then told them that it was Yukito who had cut her hair.
Suddenly, Li stand from his desk and slam his hand on the table. Fuming with anger, Li shouted, 'what?!' Tomoyo told Sakura not to lose out to him. Yamazaki hold Li to prevent Li from charging at Sakura. Li told him to let him go. Yamazaki said that today they will be playing badminton and that they can settle their differences there. Li asked as to what does badminton had anything to do with this. Yamazaki told him that it used to be a Roman way of settling differences as to which one is really good. Sakura asked Chiharu if that was true and Chiharu says that it is only a lie. For each of the student, they have different reaction to what Yamazaki said.
Chiharu: if he kept on saying it, it might become true.
Sakura: believes a little.
Li: believes.
Naoko: I can see a great competition.
Rika: just a joke.
Tomoyo: if it is true, it will be exciting.
During physical education time, teacher Terada said that now that they know the basics, the first one to play will be... Then Li immediately raised his hand. Teacher Terada says that Li sure have some initiative and the one who will play against him will be... Li then pointed his racket at Sakura, much to the surprise of teacher Terada and Sakura. At the court, Li and Sakura faced each other as Sakura still can't believe that this is happening. Chiharu was worried that Li believed what Yamazaki told him. Yamazaki was laughing as the other girls were cheering on Sakura. Li asked Sakura as to what Yukito was doing at her house. Sakura told him that Yukito was her brother's friend. This made Li really angry and made Sakura a little scared. At Seijyou High School, the class of Touya were also having physical education for they were jogging around the track. Yukito noticed that something is happening at the Tomoeda Elementary School. From the fence, Yukito shouted 'hi' really loud which perked up Sakura's ear. Yukito shouted that the two of them should do their best. This made the two blush. Li then served first and it was so fast that Sakura was not able to hit it. Chiharu and Rika says that it was really fast and Naoko says it was like magic. Sakura then was determined not to lose for Yukito is watching. She served and Li wasn't able to hit it. The two stared at each other and kept on playing hard determined not to lose. Yamazaki says that the contest is exciting and Tomoyo says that it is not like the Roman competition that he said.
At a cafe, Sakura and Tomoyo were eating some desserts. Tomoyo says that it was a great competition but Sakura says that there was no winner nor loser. Sakura kept on moving her arm for it hurts. Tomoyo told her that it was because they played so hard that they didn't notice that physical education time is already over so there is no winner. Tomoyo, smiled and told Sakura that next time, she want to be the one who will cut Sakura's hair. Sakura said yes then asked why. Tomoyo smiled and said that it was was because she likes Sakura. This made Sakura blush and quite embarrassed. Then, there was a shout. Sakura then looked out as to what it was about then saw a girl in rollerblades pass by that looked exactly like her. Sakura was surprised as she look at the girl and the girl smiled at her. Then, Chiharu and Naoko came by calling Sakura. Tomoyo stood up and asked them what is the matter. Naoko embraced Sakura and asked her as to what is with her? Sakura is puzzled by all of this. Chiharu told her that in a stationary store, Sakura made the stationaries' display to fall and that it is a good thing that no one is there but still, she (Chiharu) was suprised. Sakura freaked out and said that she didn't do it. Tomoyo told them that Sakura was here with her eating ice cream. Naoko and Chiharu says that they are sure that it was Sakura for she has the same uniform and rollerblades. Then Sakura realized that it might be the one she saw earlier.
At her house, Sakura asked as to who that was to Kerberos. Sakura wants to know who that was for it is making her look as if she is a bad child. Kerberos then decide that they have a fortune telling session with all the cards they have. Kerberos made all the cards to swirl around in air then fall in a neat pile on the table. He says that they have ten cards and could at least have a simple fortune telling. He told Sakura to do everything he says. Sakura, according to Kerberos instructions, used her left hand to make four divisions of the cards then put it in one pile again and that it doesn't matter as to which one is first on top, it all depends on what Sakura wants. One of the card was set aside. Sakura closed her eyes and said that the clow cards to answer her and tell her what-she-wants-to-know chant. Kerberos pointed to a card and told Sakura to open it. It was windy. Kerberos says that it had told about Sakura to the other cards for it is a 'spy' and 'reporter'. Kerberos reminded Sakura about what happened to Rika and that the 'sword' is not like the other cards for it went, using Rika to her house. It tried to prevent Sakura from getting the other cards. The 'sword' used Rika to know as to what Sakura will do for it would put Sakura in defensive since it is her friend using it. Kerberos told her that Sakura's character is revealed in that incident. Sakura asked about 'shadow' that it also tried to hinder her and made the cabinet to fall on the two girls. Kerberos told her that it was her brother who was really hurt. Sakura, worriedly then says that it know her brother, too. Kerberos told her to open a card and says that it will show what is the 'shadow's aim. It was the 'sword' and that it represent a 'no-win, no-lose' 'test'. Kerberos told Sakura that 'shadow' was testing her ability and unfortunately, it was at the candy store, that the test happened and that 'shadow' is really nice. Sakura asked if this means that the cards she will capture know all about her. Kerberos told her yes since the cards could feel each other except that there are other cards who are not interested with her for every card has its own different character. Sakura asked if the 'Sakura' she saw was a clow card. Kerberos told her that the chances are high. The cards that are open are the one above and below middle cards. Kerberos told her to open the three cards in the middle row. It was 'shadow', 'water' and 'illusion'. Kerberos told her that these are the characteristics of the 'Sakura'.
In the street, Touya saw 'Sakura' rollerblading. Touya in his bike rode by, passing 'Sakura'. Touya asked as to why she is going home this late and is it because she has school work. As Touya saw 'Sakura's face, he was a bit surprised and asked 'Sakura?'
Back at the house, Kerberos says that he doesn't understand. Kerberos then told her to open the card that was not included and that it will represent the 'present danger'. Sakura opened the card and it was 'flower'. Sakura remembered the other day that she saw peach blossoms, her brother's favorite flower. She immediately realized that her brother is in danger.
