In Sakura's dream, it is morning in Tokyo tower. Then, there is an eclipse. Sakura then wonders about the three figures that she had seen. First, a girl with long hair who has butterfly wings. Second, a tiger-looking creature with a butterfly on its chest. Lastly, a boy in long robes and holding a scepter,whom she had seen in her dream before. Sakura then says," You. . . 'HI...DE...'.."

At Sakura's bedroom, she had finally woke up. Her brother, Touya and her father was at her bedside, worried about her. Fujitaka asked if she was okay and if she can get up already. Sakura wiping her eyes, told them that she just feels tired. Fujitaka touching her head, says that she has no fever and that maybe that it would be better to call a doctor. Sakura told them that she is alright and that she is just tired so they should already go to school. Then Sakura falls back to bed. With sleepy eyes, she told them that she is alright. Fujitaka then told her that they will be leaving now. As Sakura is already sleeping again, Touya looks sternly at Kerberos who was sitting on Sakura's pillow as a stuff toy. Kerberos became a little tense. Then Touya left the room. Both Fujitaka and Touya agreed to come home early. Touya is a bit angry and worried, wondering as to what had happened now.

Kerberos was feeling guilty and that Touya seem to have already known about him. Sakura then thinks that Eriol and Fujitaka are very similar and there is another person whom they are similar with. Kerberos tried to wake Sakura up since he would like to talk to her but it is no use, Sakura is already sleeping deeply. Kerberos looked at Sakura's table which is glowing. All the clow cards then start to float. Kerberos went near the cards and flip the 'Firey' card. He comments that it has already changed. At the back, there is now a star in the middle with the moon and sun at the side, unlike before, it is just a sun in the middle with a moon at the side.

At the elementary school, Sakura's friends are in a cooking class. They were worried about Sakura and Li was a bit absent-minded. Tomoyo asked him he would like to go with her to Sakura's house. Li, surprised asked her why she was asking him. Tomoyo told him that Sakura would be very happy. Li blushed and nodded. Takashi praised Eriol's cupcakes which were nicely decorated. The others then started joining in. Eriol told them that he had a lot of practice. Naoko asked if he practiced at home and he said yes. Tomoyo comments that it is like Li. Li starts to flare up for being compared with Eriol. Naoko asked Eriol if he lived alone. Eriol said no, they are three in all, living together. Li seems surprised and as he looks at Eriol, he just smiles at Li.

At the high school, Touya stares outside the window, still worried about Sakura. Yukito came to Touya's table and called out to him. Touya was surprised that Yukito was carrying a very huge bag of sandwiches. Touya asked Yukito if he does not think that it is a bit too much. Yukito, laughing, told him that he had become more hungry than before. Touya then says, " I think that you do not know so I will tell you...I..feel that you..." Suddenly there was a commotion below the basketball court. Nakuru was playing and everyone is cheering that even if she is a girl, she can compete with the boys. Nakuru turned around and started calling out to Touya. Yukito comments that Nakuru is very good but does not join any clubs. Touya told him that like him, they are very similar.Yukito asked if it is not joining clubs. Touya with a serious look, said that it is not that.

Sakura then shouts that after sleeping, she feels very comfortable. Kerberos was holding a clock while seating on the bedpost told her that she should be. Sakura was surprised for it was already three in the afternoon. Then, someonerang the door bell, Sakura looked out the window and saw Tomoyo and the blushing Li. In the house, Tomoyo asked if she is okay. Sakura said that she is, after sleeping. Kerberos then side comments about her sleeping too long. Tomoyo and Li then gave her the cupcakes that they have made in class. Sakura thanked Tomoyo and Li who blushes even more. While eating, Tomoyo asked why Sakura became a sleepy-head and if it has not happened before. Sakura said that it didn't happen before. Li then told her that doesn't she always come late to school. Sakura then sweatdrops and tries to explain. Kerberos then told her it is because the card had changed its symbol. Everyone was surprised. Kerberos told them that yesterday, 'Firey' had shown a magic that is different from the usual. He showed them the card and it is different. They noticed that the front and the back designs had already changed. Kerberos said that the symbol at the back of the card had appeared when Sakura used the magic. Sakura comments that the cane had also done something different for the star twirled and feathers became big but now it has returned to its original form. Kerberos said that he thinks that 'firey' was of Clow but Sakura had also made her own card. Tomoyo then with stars in her eyes, said that it can no longer be called Clow Cards but Sakura-chan cards that compared before,it is stronger and now a new enemy will appear. Sakura asked if this is too much.

Tomoyo then decided to drop of the -chan and simply call them, Sakura cards. Sakura sweatdrops as Tomoyo is pleased with herself. Li asked that the reason why Sakura become a sleepy-head. Kerberos told them that before Sakura was using Clow magic which is the magic within the Clow cards so it is not very tiring but now, Sakura used her own magic so she got tired too easily. Li asked why does the Clow cards have no effect. Kerberos pauses then told Sakura that yesterday, when Sakura was in trouble, heand Yue could not help her. Sakura told him that it is alright since nothing bad had happened. Kerberos said that they cannot be not involved since it would be okay if they are in their false form but when they were already in their original form, they could not even make a step forward. Li and Tomoyo were surprised. Kerberos said that the one who could control the Clow cards and control him and Yue, as of now is only Sakura and Clow Reed himself. Sakura was surprised by this fact.

At a large house, Eriol went in an empty living room. There is a black cat with wings on the sofa. It greeted Eriol. Eriol greeted back, calling it Spinel and asked if he was reading the whole day. Spinel told him that it was because Eriol has left a lot of interesting books in the house. Eriol said that it was from before, in the past. Nakuru then came home. Spinel asked how school was.Nakuru said it was fun and she had found something very nice. Spinel comments that she is always in a hurry, yet now she is patient and does not eat secretly. Nakuru, removing her necktie, said that there is a very troublesome person beside this person but one should have patience in order for it to become more delicious. Spinel then asked why she is not wearing a boy's uniform. Nakuru then told him that a girl's uniform is cuter and it does not really matter for she is not human. Nakuru hugged Eriol who was sitting in a chair and asked him if he begins to likes Tomoeda. Eriol said yes. Then, with an evil look, Eriol said that because it is the place where he died. Then he took out a key. Eriol begins some incantations like what Sakura does usually. The key became a scepter, like the one in Sakura's dream. Spinel and Nakuru then changed to their original forms. Spinel became a tiger with a butterfly on its chest and butterfly wings at its back. He was called, 'Spinel-Sun' Nakuru now wears a long dress with butterfly accessories and butterfly wings at her back. She was called, "Ruby-Moon" Spinel said that they were created by Eriol, who was 'Clow Reed' in his former life. Nakuru then asked what is their goal in this place. Eriol with a sly look, said, "...has something that he wants."
