It was night and Tokyo Tower can be seen. There was a figure of tiger with a jewel on its chest. Behind the tiger was a human figure with long hair and wings. Sakura asks who they were. Then someone was holding a scepter with a sun as its symbol. This person has a hat and wearing long robes. As the person turns, Sakura says, she knows...she had seen this person before.

The alarm clock rings and Sakura woke up. Kerberos was holding up the clock telling her to wake up. Sakura says that it was only a dream. Kerberos asked if it was a strange dream and Sakura said yes. Kerberos asked what it was then Sakura paused and said that she forgot. Kerberos was frustrated with her answer.

Sakura introduces herself as a student of Tomoeda Elementary School who loves physical education, music and also beginning to like math. A very cheerful girl. Kerberos helped her tie up her hair. Sakura introduces him as Kerberos whose real name is 'Cerberus' He is the one who protects the 'Clow cards' by using magic as the 'Beast of the Seal' but he cannot yet transform to his real form so he is shaped like a stuff toy. Since Sakura does not have enough magic so Kerberos stayed in this form.

Sakura went to her study table where the clow book is placed. Sakura says that this is where the Clow cards are kept. The Clow cards are made by Clow Reed and they have magic. Since she had collected all of them from where they were scattered, so they now belong to her. Sakura hold a card and wonders what Clow Reed meant by, "From now on, 'I' will give you problems but since it is you, 'everything will be alright'." Kerberos then showed the clock which is already at 7:15 to Sakura and told her that if she didn't hurry up, she will be late.

Sakura grew tense and immediately went downstairs. She greeted her brother, good morning. Touya teased her for being late. Sakura was angry. She said that this is her brother, Touya who studies at Seijyou High School which is located beside her school. He likes to tease people. Sakura wished to grow taller than her brother so that she can stomp him to the ground. =) But her brother had grown much taller and if she only grow a meter then she'll be able to defeat him. Touya had placed a milk carton on Sakura's head which made Sakura really angry and is now beating her brother's leg.

Sakura's father came and greeted them, good morning. Sakura introduces her father, Fujitaka who have to ride the bus three times with a teacher in Biology to reach the university. She is very close with him so she can't help but love him. As they ate some sandwiches on the dinner table, a picture of Nadeshiko was on the table. Sakura said that this is her mother who had died when she is only three years old. They always place a picture nearby and her father and brother tell stories about her mother, so Sakura will not be lonely. Sakura as she ate a sandwich, says that she will not be defeated but it tastes so good. Touya gloats that compared to a certain monster, his cooking tastes much better. Sakura angrily steps on Touya's foot.

Both of them waved and said goodbye to their father. Touya was already ahead, riding his bicycle. Sakura immediately chased after him on her rollerblades, calling him to wait. Sakura had caught up with him, huffing, told her brother that she had called him to wait. Touya said that if he wait for her, he will be late. Someone then said, Hi to Sakura. Sakura blushed for it was Yukito riding behind Touya's bicycle. Sakura introduces him as Yukito, who is Touya's classmate and friend. Both Kerberos and Yukito are both created by Clow Reed to protect the cards. His real name is Yue and like Kerberos, since she can't maintain Yue's form, he has to be in a false form as Yukito. When he is 'Yukito', he does not remember anything about Yue. Sakura blushed as Yukito smiled at her and said to herself that even so, when she sees Yukito she blushes and feels shy.

At Tomoeda Elementary School, everyone are going to classes. Tomoyo greeted Sakura a good morning. Sakura introduces her as Tomoyo who helped her collect all the Clow cards and she is Sakura's best friend. She is the daughter of the owner of a toy company, very intelligent and pretty. Tomoyo sighs so Sakura asked what is the matter. Tomoyo told her that Sakura had collected all the clow cards so she can no longer videotape her and she had made a lot of really nice costumes for Sakura to wear. Tomoyo then shouts that if only she can do all of this again, she will be very happy. Sakura tried to quiet her down as everyone was wondering what Tomoyo was saying. Sakura tearfully said that even with such qualities, Tomoyo is a bit weird.

They went to their classroom and greeted their classmates. Sakura then went to her seat and greeted Li. Li blushed and greeted back to her. Sakura introduced him as Li who is a distant relative of Clow Reed and that after a lot had happened while collecting the cards but now they have a good relation so she is happy. Sakura smiles at Li. Tomoyo asked if Li will be returning to Hong Kong. Li said that he is for all the cards are collected and there is a new master. Sakura was a bit sad about the news then told him that he should return back. Li said that he will. Sakura was happy and told Li that it was good then. Li blushed as Tomoyo smiled.

Sakura then took out a letter from her bag. She said that it is from Kaho. Tomoyo asked if Kaho is fine. Sakura said yes and that she is studying hard in another school. Kaho is their temporary math teacher and during the Clow cards's last 'Judgment', Kaho had helped her. She is very nice and beautiful. But since all the cards are collected and Yue acknowledges her as the new master then everything is alright. Sakura wished to see Kaho again and as she looked up the sky, she wonders about her dream last night, knowing that it is very important yet she can't remember it.

Terada came in and told them that they have a new transfer student. Sakura told Li that it was like Li before when he transferred. Terada called the new student in. It was a boy with short black hair and glasses. The boy looked towards Sakura who was midly surprised. The boy smiled and Li is getting angry. Terada introduced the boy as Eriol Hiiragizawa who came from England. Eriol bowed and asked them to show him around. Terada told him to sit behind Tomoyo which is beside Li. As he passed by Sakura's desk, Eriol smiled and asked her to show him around. Sakura wondered about the feeling she felt. Li is really flaring up and Tomoyo wonders about the whole scene.

Sakura was near the trees behind the school, writing a letter to Kaho. Sakura wrote about the new student and she thinks that he is nice but... Then she said out loud that it felt as if it was not their first time to meet. Then someone said that, I, too. Eriol came out behind the tree and asked if she was surprised. Sakura said not really for she was just startled. Eriol said that it's okay and asked if he can sit beside her. Sakura nodded. Sakura told him that she is puzzled to have this feeling when they have only met now for the first time. Eriol said that maybe they have met before in a past life. Sakura was surprised by what he said.

Eriol stood up and asked her name. Sakura told him and Eriol comments that it is like the beautiful flower which blooms during spring in Japan. Sakura blushed and Eriol asked if he can call her, 'Sakura' Sakura said okay and Eriol told her to call him by his name, Eriol since she was calling him by his surname. [In Japan, they usually call people by their surnames unless they are very close] Tomoyo and Li were spying on them behind a tree. Tomoyo comments it is like the beginning of a shoujo manga (girl comics). Li continues to flare up and immediately went to Sakura as Tomoyo went after him. Tomoyo told Sakura that they should be going to their next class. Li was angrily looking at Eriol. Sakura asked if Eriol will go but he said that he have to go some place first. Li stared back at Eriol as Eriol just smiled at him. Tomoyo then shouted, Oh, oh, as if she had just realized something as Sakura asked what it was.

After school, Sakura asked Li if he is alright. Tomoyo smiled and said that his reaction is very complicated and that he has a new problem. Sakura asked what as Li, who was blushing, denied it. Sakura told him to tell her his problem for she might be able to help. Then she wonders how to help him if he is returning to Hong Kong. Li then announced that he is not going anymore. Sakura was surprised as Tomoyo just smiles. Li, still blushing told him that it can wait. Sakura asked if it is true. Li nodded and Sakura was really happy.

Tomoyo said that the ice cream in that store is delicious and she should go buy some. Sakura said that she will treat them and asked them to wait. Tomoyo smiled and told Li that he is not returning back to Hong Kong just because a new rival has come out. Li immediately denied this.

Sakura holding three popsicles as she ran back to them. Someone then grabbed one of her popsicles. Sakura was surprised and looked back who it was. It was Touya who bit into the popsicle. Yukito behind Touya told him that he should not do that. Sakura and Li blushed as they saw Yukito. Yukito asked if he should buy Sakura another. Touya shook his head as Sakura told him that it was alright.

Touya then sighs that he is very tired. Sakura asked why and Touya told him that they have a new student in their class. Sakura asked that they also have one so why is he tired. Suddenly, a pink haired girl jumped on Touya and clung on him by the neck, much to Touya's dismay. The girl shouted that she had been looking for him for some time. Yukito was looking at the girl then she looked at him, slyly. Yukito just smiled.

Touya comments that it is very tiring as the girl asked if Sakura is Touya's little sister. Sakura introduced herself as the girl told her that she is Nakuru Akizuki. Nakuru then holds Sakura's face and says that it just as she had in mind, very cute. Nakuru then took Touya's popsicle and waved Touya goodbye. Li and Tomoyo thought that Nakuru had stolen the popsicle. Touya with a serious look, stares at Yukito. Yukito asked what it was but Touya said it was nothing. Sakura thought that Nakuru is very pretty but what does she meant by 'like what I had in mind' and wonder what her brother had told Nakuru about her.

While folding some clothes, Sakura told Kerberos about their new student and that there was one in Touya's class, too. Kerberos asked what kind of person it was, the new student in her class. Sakura told him that he is Eriol. Then she thought of something. She said that Eriol seems to be like her father.

It kept on raining and Sakura says that it is a good thing that she had already washed the clothes. Kerberos comments that this rain feels strange. In the news, the weather girl said that the rain is on Tomoeda. Sakura was surprised by this. The news said that the rest of the city is not affected and it cannot be explained as to why this is happening. Kerberos said that it is not an ordinary rain.

In King Penguin park, Sakura was dressed in a rain-inspired costume. Sakura asked why does she have to dress like this. Tomoyo holding her videocam, said that it is for the tapes as she narrates about a strange rain in Tomoeda and 'Card Captor Sakura' has appeared. Sakura told Tomoyo that all the clow cards are collected already. Kerberos then shouted to Sakura that in this place, it is not natural. Sakura looked up to a whirlpool forming above and then started to shoot water down to Sakura and the others.

Sakura used 'Watery' and the water from the whirlpool shot through 'Watery' and was absorbed into the whirlpool. Sakura was surprised and more water were shot down towards Sakura. Sakura immediately dodged it as Kerberos and Tomoyo were concerned about her. Sakura then realized that her magic has no effect.
