In a different dimension, a mask appears before Scarecrow scolding him for not catching their princess yet. Scarecrow assures him that he will be able to, just be patient. In school, Licca plans to give her mother Orie a surprise birthday party. Licca invites her friends then wonders what she will give her mother. Meanwhile, Pau and Waya are wondering how to steal Doll Licca as ordered by Scarecrow. Outside the house, Nanae tells Rui about the party so Pau and Waya hear it and would use this opportunity by disguising as part of the catering crew.
When Licca comes home, she sees a picture of her mother with mittens so she decides to make a pair for her mother. Licca asks her mother what is her favorite color and learns that it is orange. Licca starts knitting to knit the mittens. Later that night, Orie goes into her room, asking what is Licca doing. Licca then asks about her father, Pierre. Orie tells her that he is a musician and also makes music boxes. One day while he is making a music box in a basement, Orie sees him from the window. Then, fell in love with each other. Licca wishes that hers will be as romantic.
Licca has been knitting in school and at night. Later on, she sneaks in the attic to finish the mittens. The day before Orie's birthday, Licca only finishes one mitten. On Orie's birthday, preparations are being finished and Licca is still knitting when the visitors come. Meanwhile, Pau and Waya are looking for Doll Licca. Since Orie already comes, Licca left her unfinished mitten on the suitcase where the dolls are and hurry to greet her mother. Licca leads Orie to the garden and Orie is surprised by the party.
Pau finds the dolls and quickly takes the suitcase but the mitten gets stuck so as Pau runs off, the mitten's thread is unwind. Since Pau and Waya hears someone coming in the house, they hide in a room. It is Licca going in the attic to finish the mitten. Licca is shocked since her mitten is missing then follows the thread down to the room. Licca sees Pau and Waya hiding and demands that they return the mitten. Scarecrow appears and tries to get Licca. Licca's bracelet glows and Nanae awakens Doll Licca. Licca is surprise to see Doll Licca who defeats the trio. The three retreat and when Licca looks back, Doll Licca is gone.
Licca finds her mitten but it is beyond repair. She just gives to her mother one mitten. Orie tells her that it is alright since one of her mitten is also missing so now she has a complete pair again. Then, a mail comes. It is from Pierre and in it, is a music box. Orie cries with joy since it is a music box, the one he is making when they first met. Orie remembers the time when her mitten is lost in the water while she and Pierre are on a bridge so Pierre just put her bare hand in his pocket. Orie thanks Licca for her gift and tells Licca that she is the most precious gift of all.
