Mahito had invited Ringo to have dinner after the first show. At home, Kazuomi, angrily, reads some bio-data of Mahito. Kaede, his mother asked him if he was angry with Mahito. Kazuomi threw away the book and shouted to his mother that he is not. Kaede thinks that he is faking it. Kazuomi angrily complains that Ringo should be home now since it is already 11:30 pm. Kazuomi says that she will be sorry that she has not eaten what he had cooked. Then, Kazuomi heard a car stopping. Kazuomi immediately went out to the balcony. At the car, Ringo thanked Mahito for driving her her home. Mahito greeted her good night and told her that she was cute today. Kazuomi had seen this and he was very angry to have been worried about Ringo. At Ringo's room, Ringo thought about her first show and wonders what Kazuomi thought about it.
On Monday, Ringo went to Kazuomi's house so that they could go to school together. Kaede answered the door and told her that Kazuomi had already left. Ringo was surprised and Kaede asked her if Kazuomi had told her that he had practice in the morning. Ringo went to school alone and she was angry for Kazuomi didn't tell her about the practice.
At school, Ringo's classmates asked for autographs since they had all seen her in the show. Ringo happily gives them her autograph as her classmates asked about the show and Mahito. Kazuomi, then, went into class. Ringo greeted him and asked his opinion about the show. Kazuomi answers Ringo's questions lamely. Ringo was sad and asked why he just say 'yes' when Mahito told her that she was great. Kazuomi told her that since Mahito said it, it isn't a big deal. Ringo shouts that he is saying bad things to Mahito. Kazuomi says that he wasn't, then he left. Ringo is frustrated with Kazuomi's attitude and wonders why he is angry. Ringo then decides not to thank him for his help and immediately left.
Ayanna's friend told her that it seems that Kazuomi and Ringo are having an argument. Ayanna says yes and thinks that this is a good thing so that she can have Kazuomi all to herself. Three sempai of Ayanna asked who Ringo was. Ayanna pointed it out to them. The three sempai are jealous of Ringo for being in the show with Mahito. Ayanna asked if they are Mahito's fans. The threesome said yes and that they can't believe Mahito even removed some cream off Ringo's face. Ayanna then told them that they should be careful of Ringo for Ringo had once said that she will get Mahito. Deep inside, Ayanna is laughing to herself.
At the show, Ringo enjoys herself while Mahito and she interview some people. Ringo reflects on how much joy it is to have her dream come true. Later on, after the show, Mahito leaves for another job and told Ringo that they could go out sometime. As Mahito left, Ringo washes up and thinks about her problem with Kazuomi. Before she left, Watanabe called her and gave her some fan mail. Watanabe told her that in the next show, she will be the one to cook again and that the dish should have cherries as an ingredient since a viewer have requested it. Ringo reads the mail of the viewer who told Ringo that her mother doesn't know how to buy cherries for they are either too ripe or too tarty so she asks for help on how to make use of the cherries.
At the basketball court, Kazuomi is practicing when Ringo went to him. Ringo began to explain her problem when she stopped when she saw Kazuomi looked at her. Kazuomi told her that she shouldn't keep on depending on him and that she should try to do it on her own. Kazuomi continued that he is concentrating on his game so Ringo shouldn't bother him. Ringo then apologized and immediately went away. Kazuomi looked sad and wonders if Ringo was crying.
As Ringo passes by some stores, she saw some cherries being sold. Ringo decides to ask the store owner about how to buy cherries but the store owner recognizes her as the talented cook. Ringo afraid of being embarrassed just told the man that she wants to buy some cherries. While walking, she wonders that because of her pestering, Kazuomi is irritated by her. Suddenly, someone tripped Ringo. The cherries flew all over the place. Then, that someone stepped on a cherry. Ringo looked up and saw her three sempai, telling her that it was not her fault for Ringo wasn't looking where she was walking. The trio kept on teasing Ringo as a shocked Ringo wonders why they are doing this.
Kazuomi suddenly came and asked what happen. The trio immediately left. Kazuomi asked Ringo if she was alright and what have the trio done to her. Seeing Kazuomi, Ringo began crying. Kazuomi comforts her and apologized for how he acted a while ago.
At Kazuomi's house, Kazuomi made some chocolate drink for Ringo. Kazuomi was angry about what the trio have done but Ringo says that it is no big deal. Kazuomi shouts that it is not right for they have crushed a cherry. Ringo thought that Kazuomi only cares about the crushed cherry. Kazuomi explained to her that he had seen in the television about a lot of people starving to death in the world so even a single cherry can help these people. Kazuomi then told her that he will teach her how to make a fruit that doesn't taste too good into a dish which is delicious. Ringo was surprised. Kazuomi then told her that he is doing this so that the cherries will not be wasted and it is not for her. Ringo then smiles.
Ringo in the television tells the audience about the problem of a viewer then proceeds to make the cake. Mahito comments that it smells delicious. Ringo told the viewer that in this way, the cherries she(the viewer) bought will not be wasted for all the things that God had given us is a gift. Mahito says that what Ringo said was really good. Ringo then told Mahito that a very important friend have told her about it. Mahito was surprised. Kazuomi, who was watching the show at home, starts giggling to himself and Kaede was starting to wonder about her son.
The next day, Ringo visited Kazuomi at the basketball court. Ringo gave Kazuomi a thank-you gift. Ringo told him that because of his help, she was able to be in her first show and that his harsh words had made her realized that she shouldn't depend to much on him. Ringo ends that from now on, she will try her best to become a very talented cook. As Ringo left, she told Kazuomi to also try his best in basketball. Kazuomi then looked at the gift and opened it. It was a cookbook about making dishes for lunch boxes. Kazuomi was frustrated for Ringo had just told her that she will try her best in cooking and that with this cookbook, Ringo must be thinking of asking him to make her more lunch boxes. At the back of the trees, Ayanna was very angry that Ringo and Kazuomi are friends again and vows not to be defeated by Ringo.
