Ringo and Mahito filmed their commercial about Teddy Bear Biscuit. The director and Ringo's father praised Ringo for her good work. Mahito's agent urged him to hurry up and as they went, the agent looked at Ringo. Ringo felt that the agent must be angry at her.
At home, Ringo saw Kazuomi in the apron she gave at Christmas and was cooking some breaded prawns. It turned out that Ringo's mom was scared of frying since the oil might splatter so she asked Kazuomi to cook. Ringo and her mother were delighted that Kazuomi was cooking for them. Ringo gave Kazuomi some biscuit which she advertised and told him that her father brought lots of samples. Ringo told him to give some of them to his basketball buddies. Kazuomi thanked her and told her that he was practicing for the next tournament. Ringo told him that he should do his best for he wasn't able to compete last year because of her. Kazuomi told her not to think about it anymore. Ringo then told him that she will cheer for him.
Kazuomi returned home and Kaede quickly closed the door. Kazuomi asked what the matter and Kaede told him that Shiroyama had came again and began to sermon her that she can't finish her work before her deadline. She also mentioned that Shiroyama does not want Kazuomi and Ayanna together. Kazuomi then realized that this can turn out good and he can finally break it off with Ayanna. He started singing and showing victory signs that Kaede told her son has gone crazy.
At school, Shiroyama started questioning two of Kazuomi's classmates about Kazuomi and Ayanna's relationship and told them that he disapprove of their relationship. One of them told Shiroyama that they thought Kazuomi's heart belongs to Ringo and they don't know why he is with Ayanna. During basketball practice, Shiroyama called Kazuomi to talk with him
In a large field, Shiroyama told Kazuomi that Japanese boys learning Western sports are useless. Kazuomi tried to explain the situaion but Shiroyama asked him if he really likes a girl named Ringo. To end this nonsense, Kazuomi told him that he does. Shiroyama was very angry that Kazuomi was only using Ayanna and that he can't forgive him. Shiroyama started to charge Kazuomi with his wooden katana. Kazuomi tried to explain but he lost his footing and fell. Then, Shiroyama hit Kazuomi's head with his wooden katana as Ayanna called out to him.
In the clinic, Kazuomi woke up and saw that his foot was injuired. He heard the doctor telling Ayanna that Kazuomi's head is okay but his foot needed to be rested for two weeks. Kazuomi opened the curtain and asked about next week's tournament and the doctor told him that he can't play. Ayanna apologized to him and that it was because her father wanted her to marry someone else that he did this. Ayanna started to compare themselves to Romeo and Juliet. Kazuomi asked her to leave him alone. Ayanna then told him that if it will be like this, then they should separate. Kazuomi was surprised and asked about Ringo's secret. Ayanna told him that she will keep Ringo's secret. She will sacrifice and she will try her best to convince her father. Ayanna left. Kazuomi then realized that they have already separated and that he is already 'free'. He felt he was on top of the world.
In a taping, Mahito told Ringo for them to escape during the celebration of the launch of the Teddy Bear Biscuit. Ringo was puzzled. Mahito told her that they will be going to the carnival. Ringo asked if that is alright. Mahito told her that his agent had become more strict and he can't go out anymore. His beeper and cellphone kept on ringing 24 hours a day. They left when his agent was drunk and plan to return after a few minutes. As they left, Mahito left his beeper and cellphone on the chair.
As they walk in the carnival, Ringo asked if it is okay since there are lots of people there. Mahito told her that it is alright especially since the carnival will be closing. He gave Ringo a pair of glasses and sunglasses for himself as disguise. They rode the roller coaster and Ringo was a bit dizzy. Mahito asked what they should ride next and Ringo suggested the ferris wheel. Mahito then took Ringo's hand as they went. In the ferris wheel, Mahito thanked Ringo for he was very happy for it is the first time he was able to play instead of work which he had been doing since he arrived in Japan. He told her that he was happy with his job but when he went to her house, she meet her family and childhood friend, he really admired her. Then, Mahito said that they should already go. Ringo invited Mahito to her house for her parents and Kazuomi will welcome him. Then both of them said to keep this a secret from his agent.
A girl bumped with Mahito and his sunglasses fell off. The girl then shouted that it was Mahito and started calling the attention of other people. Everyone was surprised that he was with Ringo. They hid in a small storehouse. Mahito told her that they should hid there for some time and apologized to Ringo for making her run. Ringo told him that it is alright and thought to herself that she had forgotten that she was with a super idol.
In Kazuomi's house, Kazuomi was happily cooking and his mother
wonders
why he was so happy. Kazuomi wished that Ringo would come home
immediately.
There was an announcement in the carnival that it is closing. Mahito
said that
they can go out already but when he tried to open the door, it won't
budge.
Mahito told Ringo that they are locked in.
