Ringo's father tries to wake up Mahito's agent, telling him that Ringo and Mahito are missing. The agent tells him to calm down by saying that he'll just call Mahito in his cellphone. They were surprised when they hear the ringing in the room. They found Mahito's cellphone and beeper on the chair. Ringo's father is getting worried.
In the carnival, Mahito kept on shouting for help but gave up since there is no one out there, anymore and they have to wait until morning for someone to save them. Ringo blushes and is thrilled that she will spend the night with Mahito. Mahito apologizes to her because her parents will be worried and he wishes that he has brought his cellphone with him. Ringo then realizes that she whould not be so happy because her parents would be worried. Mahito says that they haven't eaten dinner and asks if she is hungry. Ringo says that she is not then thinks of Kazuomi preparing dinner. She hopes the dessert will be cream puffs. Suddenly, her stomach makes a hungry growl and Ringo is very embarrassed by it. Mahito then removes his coat and grabs Ringo.
It is already midnight, Kazuomi and Ringo's parents are worried. The agent came, telling them that Mahito and Ringo are not in Mahito's apartment but he is sure that they were together. The agent says that he told Mahito not to get too close with Ringo and wonders if they eloped. This freaked Kazumi badly.
In the carnival, Mahito uses his coat to warm them up. Ringo sweatdrops for she is thinking something else. It is already raining. Ringo says that she is glad that she is not alone or else she will be sad. She then asks Mahito if he is lonely since he lives alone in his apartment. Mahito says that he is and sometimes want to go back to the US. Ringo says that he shouldn't because the other girls will be sad. Mahito says that he cannot go home yet because there are many people depending on him. He asks her if he know of his parents' problem. Ringo asks if it is the chicken fastfood. Mahito says that they wanted the whole world to taste what they have made because it makes them happy. He adds that, as of now, this dream did not come true yet but he respects his parents and is proud of them. Ringo thinks that she is thought like that before, she wish she can be with Mahito in work and be his friend.
Mahito continues with his story that he goes into show business by going to Japan alone. His father told him that Mahito is talented which gives others dreams for themselves so he should do his best. Ringo then tells herself, that she does not have Mahito's this kind of understanding about things. Mahito then tells her that she should also be like that because she is a talented cook. Ringo suddenly stands up and shakes her head. Mahito is puzzled. Ringo says that she has been lying to everyone, the shouts that she is not a genius cook and that the truth is she cannot cook. Mahito's eyes widen.
On the other hand, Kazuomi is harrassing the agent, telling him not to say 'elope' to him and that Mahito is a super idol so they can't be together. The agent then says it is because Ringo is very much alike, a secret, Ringo looks very much alike Mahito's girlfriend in the US. Upon hearing this, Kazuomi becomes happy since he feels more secure that it is not Ringo who initiated the 'elopement'. The agent thinks then whispers to himself that he seem to have heard that Mahito and the girl have broken up already.
Ringo waits for Mahito's reaction. She does not care if he hates her but she cannot lie anymore, cannot lie to Mahito. Mahito says that he already know about it. Ringo is surprised. Mahito says that after a year in the show, he knows that she is trying her best so even though it is bad to lie, she has been doing very well in his own eyes so they should study recipe together and with Ringo's own ability, at the end, they are no longer lying. Ringo cries and says that she will try her best, from now on, will try harder. Ringo rests on Mahito's shoulder saying that she is not alone so she can try her best. Thinking to herself, she apologizes to Kazuomi because she already told someone else the secret but wonders if it is alright that she told Mahito about it and she thinks that she is becoming closer with Mahito. Later on, they were found.
The next morning, Kazuomi is sleeping on the steps of their building. Ringo glances over him and wakes him up. Kazuomi asks where she went. Ringo apologizes and tells him that they were trapped in a storage room in the carnival. As Kazuomi rushes to him, he trips because of his injury. Ringo asks what happened to his foot. Kazuomi says that it got hurt. Ringo is concerned that he cannot play in the basketball tournament then apologizes to him. Kazuomi says that she does not need to apologize. Ringo says that even so, many things had happened. Kazuomi hugs her, saying that since she is home, it is alright. Suddenly, Ringo's stomach growls loudy then she says that she is already hungry.
After eating, Kazuomi tells her tha it is still 6:30 in the morning so she can rest a bit before going to class. Kazuomi then gives her favorite dessert, Cream Puffs. Ringo says that she is very happy because she wanted to eat it. Kazuomi smiles and says that he also thought that she would so he made it. Ringo looks at him then Kazuomi looks at her then smiles, asking if it is good. Ringo says to herself that she will not tell Kazuomi what happened with Mahito and it is the first time that she kept a secret from Kazuomi.
In school, Ringo kept on yawning as she and Michiyo walks home. Kazuomi playfully hits Ringo with his bag, saying that he will go home with them and asks her to carry his bag since his foot hurt and he had waited for her until dawn. Ringo notices that Kazuomi has been happy and asks why he is not with Ayanna since they always go home together. Kazuomi tells them that they already broke up. Ringo and Michiyo are surprised. Ringo asks why. Kazuomi says for no reason. Behind some plants, Ayanna looks on, mentally apologizing to Kazuomi for what has happened, that one day, she will be able to convince her father and only now, she let Ringo get close with Kazuomi.
Michiyo looks concerned and tells him to try his best and effort.
Kazuomi
thanks her for her concern. Kazuomi thinks that since he has broken off
with
Ayanna and Mahito has a girlfriend, he no longer has any worries.
Kazuomi then
tells them that he will treat them to some ice cream. Michiyo offers to
buy
for
them since his foot is injured. Kazuomi says it is okay and asks them
to wait
for him. While waiting, Michiyo asks Ringo why she kept on yawning.
Ringo says
that it is because she did not slept last night and whispers her a
secret.
Michiyo blurts out that Ringo is with Mahito for a whole night. Ringo
reminds
her not too loud or the media might know so don't tell anyone. Michiyo
apologizes then asks Ringo why she told her this. Ringo smiles and says
it is
because Michiyo is her best friend so she told her. Michiyo remembers
that
Ringo told her before that if there is any problem, Michiyo should tell
her.
Michiyo sees Kazuomi in her mind then tells Ringo that she has an
important
thing to tell her. Then a photographer starts taking their pictures. He
asks if
she is Ringo Nonohara. Ringo says she is and asks what is the matter.
The
photographer says that he is from the magazine SCOOP and asks if she is
with
Mahito in the carnival the other day since someone has taken a picture
of
Ringo
and Mahito in the carnival and it will be published next week in the
magazine.
Ringo is surprised by this.
