Ringo is screaming her head off, wanting to go to Mahito's concert. Ringo's father tells her that they know what she is feeling but if she goes there, it is be chaotic. Ringo says it is not fair for only her parents will go there. Kazuomi reminds her that if Mahito approaches her during the concert, it will be a big problem. Ringo says that if it will give Mahito a problem then she will no longer go. Suddenly, Kaede comes and tells them that they should be going to Mahito's concert already. With crying eyes, Ringo looks at Kaede and starts crying that Kaede is also going. Kazuomi tells them to go already. Ringo's father gives Kazuomi some money and treat Ringo out to forget about the concert. The adults left for the concert.
Kazuomi asks Ringo what she want to eat for dinner. Ringo says she wants Han Pao Pa [ a meat-like? food with a brownish covering, served with gravy and potatoes. Don't know the English of it. ] Kazuomi says that he can cook that so why not eat something else. Ringo insists that she wants Han Pao Pa. Kazuomi suggest that they have a contest and brings out a letter from the audience asking if Ringo is now good in peeling apples unlike the first time. Ringo got all tense and says that she can peel an apple. Kazuomi says that whoever peels the apple first, gets to decide what they eat tonight. Ringo agrees.
Kazuomi easily peels the apple in a single strand and confident that he will win. He looks at Ringo who is chipping the apple peel. Kazuomi comments to himself that her technique is dangerous and her face suddenly become so serious. He says to himself that it has been a long time since the two of them are alone together. Kazuomi then goes in a train of thoughts that lately Ayanna and Mahito has gone between them, then he remembers their childhood being friends since kindergarten and up to now, they are still together. He wishes that they will be together in the future. Ringo then shouts that she is finish and has won the contest. She happily shouts that she will eat Han Pao Pa tonight. Kazuomi looks at the unfinished peeled apple and he is defeated because he kept on staring at Ringo.
Ringo points to a Shiroyama restaurant if it is okay there. Kazuomi says it is not since he had already ate there with his mother, Kaede. The food is expensive, not so delicious, reception not so good and the name is not good either because it reminds him of Ayanna's father. Kazuomi points to a restaurant and asks Ringo if she wants to go there. The restaurant is called Little Bear Kitchen. Kazuomi leads her to the restaurant saying that Ringo likes teddy bears and he heard that it is delicious there. A girl greets them welcome. They felt the ambience is good.
When they were seated, Ringo asks him if it is really delicious there because they are the only customers and it is already dinner time. The girl returns and asks if they have already decided what to order. Kazuomi tells her that they will have two Han Pao Pa and soup. Ringo says that they will have two red tea custard. The girl with a smile, asks them to wait for their order. Ringo comments that even though there are no people coming, the atmosphere of the restaurant is really good.
When they ate the Han Pao Pa, they both agree that it is delicious. Kazuomi tells her the secret of the Han Pao Pa as to why it is so delicious. The girl comes by and says that he is very observant. The chef then comes and serves them their red tea custard. Ringo tastes it and glees with delight for it is delicious. The girl asks if they are lovers. Ringo immediately protests that they are not, they are just childhood friends. Ringo asks if they are a married couple. The girl says that they are, they share the work, she serves the food that he cooks.
The girl, then, tells them that the restaurant is their dream come true but since no one is coming anymore, they would have to close at the end of the month. Kazuomi says that their food is good so why are there no customers. The chef tells them that they have just started and their competitor is the restaurant outside is owned by a famous man, Shiroyama Hanamori. Kazuomi is shock that it is really owned by Ayanna's father. The girl says that they can't do anything about it. Ringo says that Kazuomi told her before that if there is no feeling then the food you eat is not delicious and tells them that the food here is very delicious. The couple thanked them and if they are able to open the restaurant again, they should come.
Ringo comments that the food there is really delicious then looks at Kazuomi with sad pleading eyes. Then, she asks her if they can do anything for the nice couple. Kazuomi says that if only they can sell a product there then it will be easy. Ringo says that the chef told them that he is good with dessert. Kazuomi says that the custard is too simple. Ringo asks how about adding different flavors instead of red tea. With the mention of red tea, Kazuomi thought of something. They rush back to the restaurant and Kazuomi introduces himself and Ringo as the host of the show 'Happy Cooking Hour.' Kazuomi then tells them that Ringo has thought of a new dessert and asks for the use of the kitchen.
In the show 'Happy Cooking Hour', Ringo and Mahito visits the restaurant. Ringo tells the audience that they will introduce the Little Bear Kitchen. The chef says that their food is delicious especially their desserts. The chef offers them their specialty, red tea custard, each of them were served with a different kind of red tea. Ringo tells the audience that the restaurant is owned by the couple and that the ambience of the food is very nice. The girl asks if it is good and Ringo says it is very delicious.
In school, Ringo shows Kazuomi the chef's letter saying that because of
the
red
tea custard and the publicity, customers had been coming so their
restaurant
business is now blooming. Kazuomi says that it is good since they can
now
continue their business and it is all thanks to Ringo's show. Ringo
says that
Kazuomi had thought about it and why would he say that she is the one
who
thought of how to make that dessert and if it is okay. Kazuomi says it
is okay
because he does not want people to know that he can cook. Ringo says
that if
she has his talent for cooking, she would be proud of it. Kazuomi
laughs and
tells her that it is because his mother cannot cook so he learned how
to. He
smiles and says that if his mother and Ringo says 'it is delicious', he
is
already satisfied. Ringo smiles at him and says that she likes Kazuomi
for
being not so proud. Kazuomi says to himself that he wishes that this
smile
would always be with him. Ringo then tells that she wants to eat Han
Pao Pa
again, cooked by him. Kazuomi dreams, that one day, he and Ringo will
be like
the couple in the Little Bear Kitchen.
