The story of Wind Up Tina (Japanese = Zenmai Jikake No Tina) takes place on “Wind Up Island”. Everyone who lives on this island has a wind up key on their back that needs to be would in order for them to stay alive. One day Tina and her friends (those friends are, FuwaFuwa, Panpu, Kaeru-Hime and Shama) meet a young man named Tabibito. To their surprise they find out that Tabibito doesn’t have a wind up key! (I guess it would be shocking, like meeting someone who doesn’t have lungs but breathes anywayz, right…?) Tina decides that she is going to help Tabibito (who apparently has lost his memory, or something like that…) It doesn’t seem like Tabibito wants Tina’s help but I doubt she’s gonna let that stop her! And on that note our story begins…
