Wind Up Tina: Issue #3
Tabibito catches Tina in his arms before she can hit the floor. FuwaFuwa tried frantically to communicate to Tabibito what’s wrong with Tina but he says “Sorry, I don’t understand…” Kaeru-Hime and the others appear on the scene, their faces full of concern. Kaeru-Hime says they must hurry and wind up her key or else… Tabibito seems surprised but Kaeru-Hime says “Of course, it’s what we must do!” She can’t believe Tabibto wouldn’t know what to do… Tabibito reaches down to turn the Tina’s key and then her eyes open! Tabibito’s face is right in front of her own and Tina is very surprised. “huh? Huh? Everyone what happen?” She asks, startled. They explain it all to her and she says now she feels very “Genki!”
(*This next part, I’m unsure of the exact wording but…) Tabibito explains that he doesn’t have a key and doesn’t need to be wound up to live. Tina is shocked and Kaeru-Hime says “I’m a bit scared Tina.” Tabibito takes off but theis time Tina and the gang let him go.
After Tabibito leaves the gang continues on their way. Shama decides she’s going to use her magic to create a baby. Unfortunately all she manages to conjure are sticks, no matter how hard she tries.
They come across a huge house/tower and Shama’s all excited because she thinks her baby must live there. Suddenly a cat walks by and much to Shama’s joy the cat has a baby kitten with her. Shama is all excited and they all exclaim over how cute the little cats are! “Kawaii!”
Tina takes the kitty and places it in a basket and they all start to climb up the stairs in the house/tower. There are a lot of stairs and they all climb up them for a long long time… When they finally reach the top they stand in front of a large man who looks like a wizard or a king. Tina asks the “Wind Up Guard” about why some people need to be wound up in order to live, and why Tabibito doesn’t even have a key- yet he lives… Tina is very confused. She asks the “Wind Up Guard” to grant Tabibito a wind up key. Tina wonders how anyone could be born without a key, what what it all means…?
