Welcome. I am Oakshire, caretaker of this humble shrine and head
acolyte of the Temple of Primus. Pause here, weary traveler, and
rest your servos. Let go your weapons of war, for you are safe here.
Reflect, and remember the days of peace...if you can. And if you
cannot, then study the tomes that lie within this ancient place and know
that which has passed, and that which we are. And may the inner peace
you discover here walk with you when you return to the ways of conflict.
Till All Are One!
The Legend of Primus...
"But who is Primus?" you ask? Primus the Creator made us in the image
of His mortal enemy, Unicron, the dread lord of chaos whose fearsome
visage lies above. Engaged in eternal battle, the Light God Primus saw
that Their struggle lay waste to the life that He sought to protect.
And so Primus trapped Their essences in rock -- a fitting punishment
for the stone heart of Unicron. But evil never rests, and Unicron
learned to shape His prison into His old form. We are Primus' children,
created as the guardians of the galaxy, the last defense against the
machinations of the Chaos Bringer.
"But we fought amongst ourselves!" you cry? Then you see the evil of
Unicron. The seeds of dissent are His greatest weapon, for He is the
lord of chaos. But hark! As was foretold by the Covenant of Primus,
in our darkest hour, there did come a champion to bring forth the light.
Under his protection, the light of Primus shines forth once more.
"Did Primus die?" Ahh, brother Transformer, but what is death for a
god? Can goodness ever perish in the face of evil? Yes, Primus shed
His corporeity in the Unicron War. But He also left His legacy behind.
And so He is truly both "Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end,"
to quote the sacred text [13:2]. Thus shall He ever be the stone of
our protection.
The Temple of Primus remembers His teachings, and spreads His word.
Though the war has ended, the battle rages on. We are again at odds with
our own. Some claim we are now a people without purpose. Is this true?
I do not know -- I am but a humble servant of Primus' way. But perhaps
this is truly our darkest hour...
The eternal conflict between science and religion. Our world is based
on technological wonder, yet we are all children of Primus. To
understand who we are, you must understand what we are. Study
the tomes, acolyte, and be enlightened.
The murals on these hallowed halls depict the heroes of Cybertron from
both sides of the eternal conflict. Acolyte after acolyte has built
upon them so that they now reach back through the generations to the
early days of our history. Their grim countenances oft have served me as
stark reminders of that which still divides our people. But let their
many accomplishments also act to inspire all Primus' children to once
again unite as a force against chaos and darkness.

And their champion, Voltron!
The Voltron brothers! But they sure don't
package them like the old days.
