Hino Rei: The Original Spitfire
		This fiery priestess from Hikawa Shrine has several hobbies, not the least of which is teasing her beloved leader.  But, while she may never admit it, Rei is one of Sailor Moon's most devoted protectors.

Rei was raised by her grandfather as a Shinto priestess after her mother died when she was young.  Because of this, she has practically disowned her father, because he was a politician and that goes against Shinto policy.  Not to mention, of course, the fact that he abandoned her to relatives instead of raising her himself.      Rei never had many truly close friends, because people were awed by either her psychic abilities or her amazing popularity.  She attends an all girls school, and the only boyfriend that she's had (to my knowledge) is Mamoru, early in the first season, if it even counts.  That is, of course, a very debatable point, but there's no denying that he and Rei once took a boatride together.  Maybe it never really went any farther.  Who's to say?      There is a love interest with Yuuichiro, a washed-out rock musician living at Hikawa Shrine, but as Usagi puts it, Rei is "too stuck up to accept him".       Though Rei often argues with Usagi, and is fond of calling her odango atama, they are like sisters and have perhaps the closest relationship between the inner senshi.  Now Rei is happy to have some true friends other than her pet crows, Phobos and Deimos*. *Phobos and Deimos were servants of Mars, the roman god of war
