Meet Nabiki Tendo, older sister of Akane Tendo. Although only seventeen, Nabiki is already an aspiring buisness women. Well, some might call it buisness, some call it extortion but you get the idea. Nabiki has found a way of profiting from almost every situation that has happened at the Tendo Dojo. What's that, Ryoga wants to fight Ranma? Nabiki's selling the tickets to the fight and even has a betting pool open. Tatewake Kuno has a crush on Ranma's girl type? Why there's Nabiki selling some nude pictures of Ranma-chan to Kuno. This girl doesn't care how she gets the money, she just loves getting it.

Nabiki has a few flaws, but they're big ones. First, she is a very greedy person. It seems that morals and ethics mean nothing to her. She has more than once put Ranma in danger (come to think of it, who hasn't) to make a quick buck. Many think she helps out with the money supply at the Tendo Dojo, but I am positive she handed over the money one minute and then swindled it away the next.

Another of Nabiki's flaws (which I find particularly annoying) is her sarcastic attitude toward almost everything. If something strange happens, leave it to Nabiki to say something about it. Not to say that her quotes aren't occasionally funny, it's just that they get old fast.

This is not to say Nabiki doesn't have good qualities too. Of all the female characters in Ranma 1/2, Nabiki most represents the "90's" women (Yay for feminism). Unlike her sister Kasumi, Nabiki isn't the least bit interested in the typical feminine roles and is instead more interested in being a "self-made" woman.

Facts about Nabiki:

• Nabiki never wears a skirt if she doesn't have to.
• Nabiki is not below selling hot water to Ranma when he really needs it.
• One of Nabiki's best customers is Tatewake Kuno (see above)
• Whe she first met Ranma (as a girl) Nabiki thought Ranma was a boy (until she inspected Ranma's chest)
