Reader Feedback and Goats

First I followed Goats for many months. Recently, I saw the strip immediately below:

I liked the “Bob” character, so I was dissapointed when he was removed from the strip:

-I decided to write a letter to Jonathan Rosenberg, the creator of the strip:

At 09:16 PM 1/22/98 -0800, you wrote:
>I am really quite dissapointed with the sudden departure of "Bob".
>He fondly reminded me of the stoner wannabee hippies I went to school
>with that took their BS's and ended up in labcoats.

>Bob as a spaced out Igor was a refreshing change from say the "Beaker"

And I received this response:

you make a good point. as of today, bob (or biff, as i realize we already have a bob on cast), will be rejoining the strip.

and they say that reader feedback gets ignored....
