Dave's Marmalaide Boy Review

Poor Miki, she is astonished when one day she returns home from school to be informed by her parents that they have decided to get a divorce. Its not that they don't get along, they have just decided that they never really loved each other. But that's not the worst of it, they've decided to each get married to another couple who feel the same way and the five of them are going to live in a big house along with their hunky son Yuu. But how will Ginta Miki's long time friend react to the idea of Yuu and Miki living together? Confused yet?

Like Ranma this series doesn't have so much love triangle as playing tactics for the NBA. Its a little slow and Miki tends to irritate me with her constant inner monologs. I've never seen anyone that indecisive. "Oh no which ever shall I choose Yuu or Ginta? I love them both and I only have 80 or so episodes to decide." Thats not to say it doesn't have its moments. Yuu along with Miki's parents and Ginta's cousin are very entertaining, and some of Miki's conclusions are quite funny. But on the whole we end up laughing at the series rather than with it.. I find it very hard to take the love triangles seriously as every time an add break occurs we discover who will end up with who. I mean talk about giving the plot away
.

Still if your into all this girly mushy anime then O.K you'll probably like this, if your more into Giant Robots and kick ass martial artists with super powers... Do what about half our anime society does when it comes on. Leave the room.
