This movie is the 1st of 2 movies starring Freeza's brother, Cooler. Before Planet Vegeta was blown up by Freeza, Gokou's Bardock is challenging Freeza. He was the only one that knew that Freeza was going to blow up Planet Vegeta therefore killing off most of the Saiya-jin. Bardock shoots blasts at him, but it is no use. Freeza forms a giant fireball and shoots it at Planet Vegeta. Bardock is killed in the explosion, but his son Gokou who was a baby at this time was flying towards Earth in a Saiya-jin Space Capsule. Freeza's brother Cooler was in a nearby ship monitoring Freeza. He sees Gokou's Space Capsule and his men ask if they want to kill it. Cooler says to let it go because Freeza let it go, so he should be the one that takes care of it. Cooler thinks that Freeza is too nice and too easy. They fly aways after Planet Vegeta is no more. This brings us to the present. Gokou is at the Kame House training. He has been training hard ever sincehe has gotten back from Namek. Gohan is studying, and Gokou tells Gohan to finish his HW. This shocks Chi Chi. Chi Chi thinks something is wrong with Gokou. Chi Chi asks Gokou if he has a fever, he replies No. Chi Chi thinks he is crazy. Gokou goes into the kitchen and gets some pots and pans. He then says hurry up and finish your HW so we can go camping with everybody, we don't want to keep them waiting. They are going camping with Kuririn and Oolong. Chi Chi asks what is more important, studying or camping. Gokou says it's obvious...camping! Meanwhile, Cooler and his men are on a planet they just couquered. Now it is nothing but a wasteland. They recieve word that Freeza has been killed by a Saiya-jin on Earth. Cooler wonders if he is an SSJ. They start their journey to Earth. When they are camping, everyone is busy. Gohan is chopping up firewood, Oolong and Kuririn are making curry, and Gokou is in a lake looking getting a giant fish. They then sense somebody near them. Kuririn gets knocked out. One of Cooler's men grab Gohan's tail from behind and lift him up, they think that he is the SSJ. Gokou comes to the rescue. They think he is weak. He easily takes all 3 of Cooler's men at the same time. Cooler comes, everybody thinks it is Freeza. Gohan flies away with Kuririn in his arms. Cooler does not want anybody to get away so he shoots an eyebeam at him, Gokou covers Gohan. He is seriously hurt. Cooler thinks that if he can take one of his attacks and still be a live, he could be powerful enough to defeat Freeza. Cooler orders his men to find them. Gokou is hurt bad. Cooler's men start shooting blasts everywhere, hoping to hit them. Cooler wants to kill him himself. When his men stop shooting, they don't see them. Gokou and Gohan are under some rocks. They have to keep their Kis down, so they don't activate their scouters. A rock was about to fall on Oolong when Kuririn blasts it. It activates their scouters. They turn around and see a flying dinosaur. They disregard it because they think that was what activated their scouters. Gohan gets out of the rocks and is riding on Haiya Dragon over to Korin Tower to get some senzu beans. Haiya Dragon drops Gohan off and he starts climbing up Korin Tower. He gets up and asks Korin for some senzu. He says that Gohan only started halfway up Korin Tower, so he says go to it again. Gohan starts back, when Yajirobe comes out and throws him a bag of senzu. Gohan starts leaving when Yajirobe gives him one more. He puts it in his belt and leaves on the Haiya Dragon back to where Gokou and Kuririn are. On the way back, Haiya Dragon starts getting tired. Gohan feeds him a senzu, and he they swiftly fly off. But the Haiya Dragon's power activates the soldier's scouters. They goto their position. Haiya Dragon gets blasted. One of Cooler's men grabs Gohan by his head. He was about to crush it when Piccolo saves him. Piccolo tells Gohan to hurry and fly to Gokou and Kuririn's position and give them the senzu. Piccolo fights all three of Cooler's men. Piccolo defeats two before getting blasted by Cooler from behind. Gohan gets to the cave and is about to give them the bag of senzu when the last of Cooler's men blasts the bag. The bag falls to the ground and burns up. In anger, Kuririn fights him. With a good effort, he gets defeated. Gohan then remembers the last senzu that Yajirobe gave him. It was in his belt. He gives it to Gokou. Cooler's man is walking toward the cave when his scouter picks up a high power level. He gets confused because there is no way that anybody in that cave could have such a great power level. Gokou comes out of the cave. Gohan gets hit and is knocked out. Gokou is easily fighting him. Gokou knocks him into a mountain. Cooler suddenly appears above him with Piccolo's body in his hand. He says keep this trash and throws Piccolo's body down. Gokou was going to catch Piccolo's body when Cooler blasts it a lot. This angers Gokou a lot. They fight and they seem pretty evenly matched. Cooler then says that he has one more transformation this his brother Freeza. This shocks Gokou. Cooler changes. He is incredibly powerful, a lot more powerful then Freeza. He beats up Gokou bad. Gokou tries using Kaiouken to get away but it is no use. Gokou uses a Kamehameha at Cooler. Cooler flies straight up through the Kamehameha. Gets hit hard. Gokou then thinks about what he did to Piccolo, Kuririn and Gohan. He then blocks a knee to the gut. Gokou has turned into a SSJ. He beats up Cooler. Cooler flies up and throws a giant fireball down at Gokou and is capable of destroying Earth. Gokou is trying to hold it back. Gokou uses all his power and uses the Kamehameha to deflect it back. It goes and hits Cooler. Cooler is thinking that he should have destroyed Gokou's space pod when he had the chance. Cooler gets shot into space into the sun. Gokou used up all his power. Gokou, Kuririn, and Gohan are talking when The Last of Cooler's men comes out and says he will now take over the world. When all of a sudden, a Makankosappo comes out of no where and hits him. Gohan yells out Piccolo in happiness. I liked this movie. Piccolo might not be the strongest at the end of the series, but this movie shows that he is not all that weak.
