Dragonball is a anime/manga series created by Akira Toriyama in 1984. Dragonball has made 2 other series from it. Dragonball Z and Dragonball GT. Dragonball is mostly toilet humor. Dragonball Z, the second series, loses most of the toilet humor, and is now more of a action/fighting series. Dragonball has made 4 big screen movies. Dragonball Z however, made 13. Dragonball made 42 mangas, and 291 TV episodes. The series after Dragonball Z is called Dragonball GT (Grand Tour) It just recently ended, thus concluding the entire Dragonball Series. Dragonball is based on an ancient Chinese legend about a Monkey King. The main character Gokou, is part of a race called Saiya-jin. He came from the planet Vegeta when he wasjust a baby. His mission was to conquer earth. When he came to earth, and old man named Son Gohan found him and adopted him. As a child, Gokou hit his head, and he forgot about his mission. As Gokou grew up, he found that he had strange and mystical powers. He eventually meets Bulma, a woman looking for the 7 mystical Dragonballs that grant you any wish you desire when brought together. So from then on, the story of Dragonball begins...

Saiya-jin Saga

Eventually, Dragonball molds into a more of a fighting series called Dragonball Z. Personally, I like DBZ the best out of all of them. I haven't seen any DBGT Episodes, so I don't barely know anything about that. The first big enemy in DBZ is Nappa and Vegeta. Nappa, Vegeta, Radditz and Kakarot are the only known surviving Saiya-jins left, after Freeza destroyed Planet Vegeta. After Gokou sacrificed his life to kill Radditz, Piccolo trained Gohan to fight the evil Saiyajins that they knew were coming. Kuririn, Chaozu, Yamucha, and Tien were up at Kami-Sama's palace training also. And Gokou was at Kaiou-Sama's planet doing very serious training like chasing monkeys and hitting insects with hammers. When the Saiya-jins finally came, they were more powerful then anybody expected. On Earth at least.. Nappa easily defeated the Z warriors like Yamucha, Tien, Chaozu, and even Piccolo. Gohan and Kuririn were the only ones left when Gokou came. Gokou easily defeated Nappa. Nappa's strongest attack didn't even rip his clothes. In the end, Vegeta was really the one that killed him. Gokou told Gohan and Kuririn to go back to the Kame House and to leave him and Vegeta alone to fight. Vegeta seemed more powerful then Gokou, until he used his Kaiou-ken attack. He was told not to go above level 2, but he had to, to save Earth. Vegeta was shocked that there was someone stronger then him. He had always thought of himself as the best. Vegeta was tough though. He got hit by a 4X Kamehameha, and a Genki-Dama. But he was still able to get up. Vegeta made an artificial moon and turned into a giant monkey. That picture is not the actual picture, but it is a picture of the kind of monkeys that Saiya-jins turn into when they look at a full moon. He almost totally crippled Gokou. But the the person that cut off Vegeta's tail, was the last of all people... Yajirobe!! At the end, it was Gohan and Kuririn that saved him. When Gokou's body was crushed, Gokou gave Kuririn his Genki-Dama that he formed earlier. Kuririn had to hit Vegeta with it. If he didn't, it would be all over. Kuririn did hit Vegeta with it. But Vegeta was still able to stand. Gohan's tail had grew back. Gokou told him to look at the powerball in the sky. He did and he turned into a giant monkey just like Vegeta. Vegeta finally gave out when giant monkey Gohan landed on him as he was changing back. Kuririn had a chance to kill him, but Gokou said to let him go. That was how Gokou and Vegeta became destined rivals.

Freeza Saga

The next big enemy in the series is Freeza. Freeza is the one who destroyed Plant Vegeta, therefore killing almost the entire race of saiya-jin. Freeza has four forms. When he is in his first form, he is short, wearing saiya-jin armor, and flying around in a little space pod. In his second form, he breaks out of his battle armor, he gets taller, and gets longer horns. In his third form, his head gets longer. He looks like an Alien from the Alien movies. His fourth and final form is his most powerful form. He totally looks different from all his other forms. He is purple, and white. His hands have three fingers and his feet have three toes and his head is bald. Freeza was on Namek looking for the Dragonballs to wish for immortality so he could rule the universe. Vegeta was there also looking for Dragonballs so he could wish for immortality also. This takes place right after the Vegeta/Nappa Saga. Gokou is on a spaceship training on his way to Namek to help Kuririn and Gohan. Gohan and Kuririn wwere on Namek looking for the Dragonballs also. They were going to use them to bring back their friends that died because of Nappa. Including Piccolo. If Piccolo is brought back, then Kai-Sama is brought back. So then the Earth's Dragonballs are back. Gokou got pretty beat up since the fight with Vegeta. So he had to stay in the hospital until he could eat some senzu beans. That is why Gokou's trip was delayed. Gokou got a really cool spaceship for his trip. Gokou was training hard on the spaceship. It had a gravity machine so he could get some heavy duty traning done. Kuririn and Gohan do get the Dragonballs and they wish Piccolo back. Vegeta fights first form Freeza and they seem pretty evenly matched. That was until he changed into his second form. Piccolo finds a beat up Namek named Nail laying on the ground. Nail tells his story. Piccolo fuses with Nail to become very powerful. Piccolo confronts Second Stage Freeza. Piccolo is a match for Second Stage Freeza. That is until he changes to his Third Stage. Freeza kept on shooting him with little blasts. Gohan shoots a giant fireball at Freeza in anger. Freeza deflected it. Vegeta tells Kuririn to beat him up. Because when a Saiya-jin gets beat up, then healed, they get stronger. Kuririn thinks of Freeza and shoots a fireball through Vegeta. Dende hesitates to heal him. Vegeta demands it. Dende heals him and then gets kicked down by Vegeta. Freeza then turns into his forth and most powerful form. He easily takes on everybody. That is until Gokou finished healing from Vegeta beating him up when Ginew took over his body. Gokou and Freeza seem pretty evenly matched. Freeza kills Vegeta just to piss Gokou off. Freeza also kills Gokou's best friend Kuririn. After seeing this, Gokou gets so angry that he turns into a Super Saiya-jin. After this massive powerup, Gokou seems to be more powerful then Freeza. Freeza then says that he was only fighting at 70%. He powers up to 100%. Freeza is now as powerful as Gokou. Kaiou-Sama suggests that they use the Earth's Dragonballs and bring back everyone that was killed by Freeza. This would bring back all the Nameks, including the Eldest Namek. If the Eldest Namek is brought back, then the Namek Dragonballs will be brought back. When Dende got revived, he told Porunga, the Namek Dragon to teleport everyone except Freeza to Earth. But Gokou does not want to be teleported back either. So everyone except Freeza and Gokou got teleported back. After lots of fighting, Gokou defeats Freeza by luring him into his own cutting fireballs. But he is not finished. Freeza desperatly shoots a fireball at Gokou as a final attmept to kill him. Gokou shoots one back defeats Freeza. He later comes to earth with his dad, King Cold to get revenge. Trunks, the golden haired boy from the future easily puts an end to them.

Android/Cell Saga

The next big enemies are androids 17,18,19,20 and Cell. Trunks warns them about the androids that are going to destroy the world in 3 years. He also comes back to give Gokou some heart medicine. Gokou got a heart disease on a distant planet called Yadrat. Trunks tell them that Gokou had died from that disease, so no one was left to protect the earth. That was how his future was destroyed. Trunks' world was destroyed by androids. Knowing that the androids are going to come, they train hard for three years. One day, there is an explosion in a city. Gokou and the others go and investigate. It was an old man, and a fat man. They turned out to be androids. They could steal the energy from people by sucking it through their hands. Gokou turns Super Saiya-jin and fights the fat one(#19) At first Gokou seems to be winning, but then the heart disease starts to kick in. Then #19 starts sucking Gokou's strength. Thats when Vegeta takes over. Vegeta has been training hard in Bulma's gravity room in those 3 years. Vegeta turns Super Saiya-jin too. Vegeta seems more powerful then Gokou. He easily defeats #19 and goes after #20. #20 escapes and goes to his lab and activates #17, and #18. They are the ones that Trunks warned the Z Team about. #17 kicks off #20's head and destroys the self destruct controller. #17 and #18 activated #16. Vegeta takes on #187 by himself and gets trashed bad. Trunks gets mad seeing his dad get beat up, so he fights too. He gets beat up too. Piccolo eats a senzu from Kuririn, and heads to Kami-Sama's palace. Piccolo and Kami-Sama have joined to become a super namekejin. The rest of the Z team goes to Gokou's house. Trunks gets a call from Bulma. She says that she found something. They go to the site. They find a time machine that looks like Trunks'. But its not his. It looks a few years old. they find a egg of some sort of creature. At that time. Cell appears all of a sudden. Piccolo meets Cell first. Cell is a bio creature created by Dr Gero's(#20) computer in the future. Cell is made up of Gokou, Vegeta, Piccolo, Freeza, and King Cold's cells. Piccolo beats up Cell at first, but then he uses a Taioken(a bright flash) to escape. He absorbs a lot of innocent people using his scorpion like tail. He is now incredibly powerful. Even the newly powered up Piccolo can't beat him. Kuririn finds Cell and tries to fight him. He does pretty good too, but is still no match for Cell. Cell runs away again. Gokou finally wakes up, and see Vegeta pissed because he is not strong enough to fight the androids. Gokou takes Vegeta and Trunks to the Room of Spirit and Time to train. Where one day in the regular world, equals one year in the room. The newly powered up Piccolo goes and takes on the androids alone. He and #17 are equally powerful. He #16 tries to stop Cell, but Cell sneaks up behind #17 and absorbs him. He becomes incredibly powerful. Piccolo tries to fight 2nd stage Cell, but gets beaten up. Tienshinhan helps by shooting kikoh at Cell many times. Piccolo's neck was broken by Cell. Gokou teleports there and saves them both. Vegeta and the longer haired Trunks come out of the Room of Spirit and Time. Vegeta tells Gokou not to go in and train with Gohan because he will defeat Cell. Vegeta threatens Cell as he powers up to Ultra Saiya-jin. Ultra Saiya-jin. That is a form between SSJ and SSJ2. They bulk up to enormous amounts. But a flaw of that form is that they bulk up so much that there speed lowers. Vegeta majorly beats up Cell. While they are fighting, Gokou and Gohan are training in the Room of Spirit and Time. Gokou shows Gohan how to become a Super Saiya-jin. Cell tells Vegeta that he can be even more powerful if he absorbs #18. Vegeta lets Cell do this, just to prove his strength over him. Trunks tries to stop Cell but Cell uses a Taioken and absorbs #18 and becomes Perfect Cell. Cell beats up Vegeta really bad. Seeing this, Trunks powers up to until he has so much muscle that he can barely move. Cell beats Trunks easily in that form. Cell explains that they have not gone over SSJ. Cell decides to make his own Budoukai. Gokou and Gohan exit th Room of Spirit and Time, and stay SSJ for more training. Gokou is up to fight Cell first. They fight and Gokou says that he is not strong enough to beat Cell. Gokou says that someone is, and he says Gohan is. Gohan is next. He seems like he is not strong enough either. Gohan does not like to fight like his dad, even though keeps on pushing him. #16 is talking to him about life, when Cell smashes #16's head. Gohan is filled with so much anger that he went beyond the limits a Super Saiya-jin to become Super Saiya-jin 2! His hair is spikier, and there are streaks of electricty around him. He easily beats up Cell. Cell makes himself bloated and threatens to self destruct and blow up the Earth. Gokou telports him and Cell to Kaiou-sama's planet and blows him up. Since Cell has Piccolo's cells in him, he was able to regenerate. And he is also part Saiya-jin. So he was near death, but then he got healed. So he is a little stonger. He kills Trunks. Vegeta gets enraged, since Cell killed his son from the future, he shoots a barrage of fireballs at Cell, but it does no good. Cell throws a firebball at Vegeta, but Gohan blocks it with his left arm. Cell then does a kamehameha, and with only one arm, Gohan does a kamehameha also. It is the biggest fireball fight in the series. Vegeta shoots a fireball at Cell to distract him, knowing that, Gohan strains harder and blows Cell away. After that, there is a brief period for which all is peaceful.

Majin Buu Saga

The last and major enemy is Buu. Buu takes all kinds of forms. 7 years later, after the Cell Saga, the 25th Budouakai is being held. Gohan is now all grown up. He now has a brother Goten. Gokou gets to come back to Earth for one day. Vegeta and Bulma now have a son named Trunks. Goten and Trunks are best friends. Kaiou-Shin and his assistant come to the Budoukai because they know something bad is going to happen. Videl and a muscular guy fight. Videl seems to be winning. But in the middle of the fight. An M appears on his forehead. When that happened, he became a lot stronger. He beatup Videl and was about to kill her when another guy told him to stop. He throws her body out of the ring and is declared the winner. Gohan goes over to check on her at the hospital. He gives her a senzu bean and she healed up instantly. Next up, it was Gohan and the Kaiou-Shin disguised as a punk. Shin asks for him to power up. Gohan does. During the fight, Piccolo yells out that Shin is Kaou-Shin, the god of the Kaiou's. Then the 2 guys that fought Videl came and tackled him to the ground and stuck a giant needle device into his back to get the energy.Shin's assistant heals Gohan. Shin goes to stop them, and says that they could come and help if they wanted. Kaiou tells them about the sorcerer Bibidi and his son Babidi. Bibidi was a evil wizard. He created Buu, a being with incredible power. When he died, his son Babidi found Buu's shell, and is trying to open it by getting enough energy. They flie toward Babidi's ship and see Dabura, the strongest of the Black World. He works for Babidi since Babidi can control evil hearts like his. They sense the group up by his ship, Dabura attacks. He spits on Piccolo and Kuririn, turning them to stone. He also kills Kibit. Gohan, Gokou, Vegeta and Shin enter their spaceship. There are 5 levels, each level has its own fighting champion. Vegeta fights the first level champ, and defeats him easily. Gokou fights the second level champ. That monster can eat up energy. When Gokou turned Super Saiya-jin, the monster ate his energy causing him to power down. Gokou tries again, but this time powers up more. So much that the monster exploded from eating all that energy. The third stage boss is Dabura. Gohan gets to fight him. Gohan has gotten weaker since the Cell Game, because he wasn't training in the 7 year period when Gokou was dead. Dabura gives Gohan a tough fight. Dabura then makes his own sword to use on Gohan. Gohan catches it between his hands and breaks it. Dabura then senses Vegeta's evil heart and tell them that he has found another warrior to fight them. They all wonder who it could be. Shin knows that it is Vegeta and warns them about it. Vegeta starts holding his head in pain, and starts to powerup. When it was done, Vegeta had a M on his forehead. He is now Majin Vegeta. Babidi then teleport them to the sight of the Budoukai where Mr. Satan beat #18 by giving her a lot of money. Vegeta shoots fireballs at the people at the stadium demanding that Kakarot should fight him. Gokou agrees so that no one else gets hurt. They get teleported to an empty deserted place. They fight, and they are about equal in power. In almost no time, Babidi got enough energy to let Buu out of his egg. Gohan and Shin go down to their chamber and try to stop them. Buu's egg starts shooting out lots of smoke. Gohan powers up and shoots three Kamehamehas at it. It shot it up in the air, and then it cracked open when it landed. Shin starts laughing because the ressurection didn't work. But then the smoke from the egg starts forming into something, it is Majin Buu!! Dabura complains that he is just fat and useless, that s when Buu kicks Dabura into a mountain almost killing him. This shocks Shin and Gohan. Buu then beats up Shin and Gohan. Gohan gets hit with a fireball and gets knocked in the forest somewhere. Shin thinks that he is dead. Buu beatsup Shin too. Dabura then shoots a spear through Buu and says that he will kill him. Buu ends up turning Dabura into a cookie and eating him. Vegeta says that they should now try to beat Buu because he is a threat to the world. Gokou agrees happily, as he reaches for his senzu beans, Vegeta sucker punches Gokou and takes the senzu bean. Vegeta powers up and goes to fight Buu. He beats up Buu, but Buu doesn't get hurt. He also has a body that can regenerate. Vegeta gets beat up. Trunks can't stand to watch this so he kicks Buu through a few mountains and saves his father. Since Dabura is dead, Piccolo and Kuririn return to flesh. Piccolo says that even if they can't kill Buu, he can kill you. So Piccolo slices Babidi up. Vegeta then hugs Trunks and tells him to take care of Bulma. Vegeta knocks Trunks out, and goes to fight Buu again. But this time, he is going to blow him into some many pieces that he will not be able to regenerate. He says goodbye to Bulma, Trunks and Kakarot as he self destructs himslef with all the ki around him. It cause a very big explosion. Piccolo goes to investigate and sees that Buu is still alive. He is shocked. Gokou wakes up and goes to Kami-Sama's palace and tells them about the Fusion. Gokou tells them about it. He teaches Piccolo how to do it, because Gokou's 24 hours are almost up. Piccolo teaches Goten and Trunks how to do it. It requires them to do a silly dance and join fingertips at the end to perfect it. They do the fusion and become Gotenks! He is confident that he is strong enough to beat Buu. But comes back beat up. So then they try Super Saiya-jin fusion. They are a lot stronger. They fly around the world and wiat for Piccolo to catch up with them. When he does, he goes and fights Buu. But the fusion only lasts for 30 min. so they come apart. then they run away. Buu comes up to Kami-Sama's palace to fight Gotenks. But Piccolo tells him to wait for 1 hour. He starts waiting as Goten and Trunks are in the room of spirit and time training to defeat Buu. They train hard, and then when they fuse, they could become SSJ3 Gotenks! Meanwhile, Gohan is on Kaiou-Shin's planet training and getting a powerup from a 15 genertaion Kaiou. Gotenks then beats up Buu. Buu forms himself into a ball and flies around the Sky Palace trying to hit Gotenks and Piccolo. Doing that, he practically destroys the Palace. Gotenks shoots a beam at him, and it goes around Buu. Making him into a volleyball for Gotenks and Piccolo. Gotenks bumps it, Piccolo sets it high, then Gotenks flies high and spikes the ball down to the ground hard! But that is still not the end of Buu. They fight a little bit more. But they stop when Gotenks powers down from SSJ3 to regular form. That is because they can only stay SSJ3 for 5 min. Buu then decides to take a little nap. Gohan is finished powering up and is approaching the battle sight. Gohan comes to the battle site and everyone is suprised that he is that strong and that he did not die. He seems to be more powerful then Buu. He beats up Buu. Buu gets frustrated and self destructs, blowing a big chunk out of the Earth. Gohan saves Piccolo, Goten, and Trunks. Buu regerates. Goten and Trunks then fuse to show Gohan Gotenks. Buu sneaks a little piece of him behind Gotenks. That piece stretches out and absorbs Gotenks and becomes part of his body. He then becomes Super Buu! He is a lot more powerful then Gohan is now. Gohan gets beat up. Back on Dai-Kaiou-Shin's planet, the 15 generation old Kaiou sacrifices his life to bring Gokou back to life. He then gives him two earrings. When two people put these earrings on, they will fuse into one person...permanently. Gokou then teleports to the battle site. Buu was about to shoot a big fireball at Gohan when Gokou cuts him in half. He throws one of the earrings to Gohan and tells him to put it on. But before Gohan could, Super Buu absorbed him also. He drops the earring on the ground. Gokou then thinks about who else he could fuse with. He sees Mr. Satan but says that it won't power him up that much more. And plus he would look ugly after. That was his best choice. He was about to throw it to him, when he senses Vegeta'a ki! If them two could fuse, they would form an awesome warrior!! He teleports to his location and tells him to put it on. Of course, Vegeta refused. But in the end he agrees. They put the earrings on and form Vegetto!! I think Vegetto is the strongest character in the entire series. More powerful then Gogeta. Vegetto gives Super Buu a beat down. Vegetto says he will end it in 10 seconds. He starts counting when a piece of Super Buu flies over him and is about to absorb him too. Vegetto forms a barrier right before he is absorbed. Even they were absorbed, Buu did not change like when he absorbed Gohan, and Gotenks. Inside of Buu, Gokou and Vegeta separate because of the barrier. Vegeta crushes his earring so that he and Gokou will never be fused together again. There goes there chances of ever defeating Buu as Vegetto. They see pods where Gohan, Goten, Trunks and Fat Buu are hanging. They break them out and Buu transforms into a little version of himself. They escape with the bodies. Buu now looks like a little kid version of himself. I call him Kid Buu or Original Buu. Kid Buu then forms a fireball and throws it at the ground. It is powerful enough to destroy the Earth. Vegeta shoots a fireball, deflecting it. Buu forms a bigger one and throws it at the Earth. They can't stop that one so they grabbed everybody that they could and teleported to Dai-Kaiou-Shin's planet. That is Mr. Satan, Dende, and the dog. Instead of Piccolo, Goten, Gohan and Trunks. After Buu reforms, Buu also teleports to Dai-Kaiou-Shin's planet. Kid Buu also appears there. Gokou then powers up to SSJ3 and fights Kid Buu. Vegeta also powers up and joins in while Gokou is trying to gather energy. But all of a sudden he loses it. After both of them get beatup, Kid Buu goes after Mr. Satan. Mr. Satan ducks under Buu's swing. Buu then remembers their friendship. Because of this, Buu spits out Fat Buu. Kid Buu goes for Satan again, but Fat Buu stops him. Fat Buu and Kid Buu fight while Dende uses the Namek Dragonballs to bring back the Earth and everyone on it. Gokou then tries forming a Genki-Dama again. He asks everybody on Earth to give him some of their power. Only some do. It is not enough. But all of a sudden, Mr. Satan yells out to give Gokou their power. After that, people's hands all around the world starts going up, giving Gokou their power. Gokou then launches his giant Genki-Dama at Kid Buu. Kid Buu puts up some resistance. Meanwhile, Gokou's power is weakining from shooting the Genki-Dama. Dende then uses the last wish to restore Gokou's strength. Gokou all of a sudden turns Super Saiya-jin and says good bye to Buu and wishes he could be resurrected as someone good so that they could fight again. This is the end of Dragonball.
