Tezuka Osamu said those words, and through them summarized a message which permeated all his creations. As the man who really made anime and manga what they are today I already respected the "God of Comics", but when I heard this quote I really learned to admire the man. Though hardly identical, I believe similar things to Tezuka-sama and like him it has a tendancy to show up in my writing. I can hardly claim it as "my message" as what I am saying has been stressed through out time. Such things as the power of love -- both between friends and lovers, the beauty of life, why killing is wrong, why you can be kind everyone -- even to your enemies, and so forth. The greatest compliment I can receive is to hear that something in my writing has given something back to a reader. I have little contact with fanfiction writers outside those in Sixth Step Productions, but I believe fanfic can and should be treated like any creative work, be it written or otherwise.

Through my writing I want to share myself with people, the Terra you see in my fiction is an embodiment of myself in many ways. I put all of myself on the page. I've laughed, cried, been happy and sad, I may even have loved -- chances are all emotions that come through in my writing are almost assured to be genuine. I don't know if it makes me different than other fanfic writer, but it makes me feel that it's a bit more than just normal fanfic. Someday I want to be a novelist, this is in many ways practice for that. For all of this though my message which really I want to be voiced is ENJOY! I write fanfic for you all, and that sort of contribution is why I enjoy doing this.
