Master Yeow Cheng Watt, PJK has over 35 years of Martial Arts Experience in Taekwon-do. He is an 8th Degree Black Belt Taekwon-do Master and he believes strongly in the power of TAEKWON-DO to help all kinds of people feel better about themselves and improve their life styles. He was awarded the 7th Degree Black Belt from the Founder of Taekwon-do, General Choi Hong Hi himself, and the 8th Degree Black Belt by the late GrandMaster Park Jung Tae. Master Yeow opened and began to run the Traditional Taekwon-do Academy back in the year 1988. He has since and is still producing students who have become world and national champions time after time. Master Yeow was also the National Chief Coach for the Malaysian team from 1987 till 1994 and his team won and gained respect, achievement and recognition internationally! The Black Belts from the Traditional Taekwon-do Academy have spread their wings all over the world and have become instructors themselves in countries such as Sweden, India, Sri Lanka, Australia and New Zealand, to name a few. With his strict principles and NO politics involved, Master Yeow has now incorporated his experience in other martial arts together with Taekwon-do to introduce a well balanced art of locks & throws that complements the fine kicks of Taekwon-do. Students respect Master Yeow highly for his accomplishments and dedication to individuals and his casual yet encouraging personality and good hunour. He has a special reputation for dealing with all people from children to adults, regardless of race or gender, as he is able to balance discipline with a firm yet kind manner.
