Self-Meditation Through Isometric Exercises
Prepare firstly by cleaning yourself in mind & body.
In Mind - by listening to some soothing music or sound.
In Body - taking a bath or at least cleaning the hands and feet with a wet towel.
Breathing easily and comfortably is the next step.
In this busy world of ours nowadays it is often heard that we have no time to spare.
Remember we always have time to take a deep breath through our nose and slowing exhaling it out through our mouth.
Once we begin the exercises, it is most important to try our very best comfortably and not to excert too much (never compare yourself to the next person), just follow the leader as best you yourself can always remembering to breath comfortably.
Utilize your own breathing one deep breath and then exhale slowly, then take the next breath, and the next, and the next, and by the fourth breath when we feel that we have reached our own maximum, we shall count to eight before coming up to complete the exercise.
There are no strict & fast rule that we must follow when doing these exercises, try to improvise on some of them.
Various sport tend to favour more on the particular limp or muscle. What we shall try to achieve here are exercises from the tips of our fingers to the top of the head.
We shall stand, squat, sit, sleep face up, sleep face down and finish by standing up again.
But, for the purposes of today, some of the exercises will be modified due to constraints of time and place.
When we have finished the exercises, it is important to think and act healthy.
Cleaning and drying the body and drink a lot of water, NO soft drinks or beer, etc. shall complete the physical exercise. Mentally we should think good thoughts. What we have achieved today is in the selfsatisfaction that we have completed something successfully. This satisfaction can give us the self-confidence to achieve better and greater things for ourselves. It may begin with simple things such as pushing our own body a little bit lower. BUT it can lead to better grades in school and success in all our endeavour if we instil it in our minds that we shall always do all things to the very best of our true abilities.
The word is AFFIRMATION - We shall and we can succeed in all our endeavours.
WE SHALL AND WE CAN ALWAYS SUCCESSFUL.
