Sailor Venus was the fifth to appear, and she does "make the scene," but she was a senshi long before Usagi was. She was known as Sailor V. She is very similiar to Usagi, since Naoko based the character of Sailor Moon on Sailor V. Like Usagi, Minako is usually late and has a tendency to chase after guys, sometimes going too far. Minako has a sparkling personality, and therefore is a favorite character to a lot of Sailor Moonies. She even has her own domain on the web!! SailorVenus.com
During the Silver Millennium (and the time of Crystal Tokyo), Sailor Venus was the leader of the Senshi when Usagi was busy being princess (with a prince like Endymion, it's no wonder ^_^). Yet, in the present, she still has that leadership quality and uses it well. Her main attack is "Crescent Beam" and was later powered up to be "Crescent Beam Shower." This was said very well. A new attack (and transformation stick) came to Venus in the R series, called "Venus Love Me Chain." When she is Super Sailor Venus (Venus Crystal Power), she uses the "Love and Beauty Shock." This looks really cute: she kisses her hand and a gold heart appears; she then throws it at her enemy giving him "the shock!"
