Experience Points and Levels...

Characters will have experience points. Thus, each character has to accumulate experience points by fighting to increase their hit points, defense points, damage capabilites as well as cosmos points.

Depending on your character, you will start of in the game with a certain experience level. The breakdown is as follows:

Without Cloth
With Cloth
Bronze Saints Hit Points: 100
Damage Points: 5
Defense Points: 5
Cosmos Points: 50
Hit Points: + 50% of HP without cloth
Damage Points: same as without cloth
Defense Points: doubles
Cosmos Points: same as without cloth
Silver Saints Hit Points: 200
Damage Points: 7
Defense Points: 7
Cosmos Points: 75
same as above
Gold Saints Hit Points: 300
Damage Points: 10
Defense Points: 10
Cosmos Points: 100
same as above
Gods/Goddesses Hit Points: 400
Damage Points: 10
Defense Points: 10
Cosmos Points: 200
same as above

Increasing Hit Points, Damage Points and Defense Points

Damage points will increase by one(1) point for each Bronze Saint defeated, by two (2) for each Silver Saint defeated, and three(3) for each Gold Saint defeated. Defense points will increase by the same increments only if you were able to kill your enemy.

Hit points will increase only after a character has defeated 5 opponents. It will increase by increments of 5.

Another way to increase hit points, damage points and defense points is through training. Training basically means that a character will have to lose a turn. A character in training will have to specify what he or she is training for (hit points, damage points or defense points). One additional point will be added for every 5 turns lost because of training. .

Attacking and Actions

This game will use a turn-system similar to Magic: The Gathering. Basically, all this means is that Player A will submit his actions or attacks to the Game Masters (GM), Player B and any other characters involved in that action/attack. Next, Player B will have a chance to submit their actions/defense. The GM will then decide the outcome of the turn. Then, it will be Player B's chance to attack and we go through the same cycle.

A character will take damage depending on his/her defense points and how strong his/her opponents damage points are. Attacks and defenses can be with cosmos or without cosmos. Obviously, Cosmos-aided attacks/defenses are more powerful. Outcomes will be determined by simple mathematical computations. For example: Player A has 8 damage points and 6 defense points (8/6) while Player B has 6 damage points and 5 defense points(6/5). If A attacks B, B's hit points will be reduced by 3 (A's 8 damage pts - B's 5 defense points). If B uses cosmos to defend himself, his defense points will increase to 10 (6/10). This means that B will not take any damage.

To make things easier and fair, only one to one attacks can be made. Thus, no character can be ganged up on. Group cosmos attacks, meaning lending your cosmos to another player is permissible only if the character executing the attack has a hit point of 15 or below.

See Cosmos Attacks for more information on Cosmos-aided attacks and defenses.

Increasing Cosmos Points

Every character has cosmos. Cosmos will increase similar to the way hit points increase. Thus, it will increase in increments of 5 and will only increase when your character has defeated 5 other characters.

Cosmos Attacks

A character may use cosmos for increasing the damage points in their attacks. These attacks are usually the signature attacks of each character. (For example, Seiya's Pegasus Ryuu Sei Ken or Ikki's Phoenix Genma Ken) Now, as most of you know, each kind of attack is different depending on how powerful it is and how much cosmos a character wants to use in the attack. Cosmos attacks will be categorized into three levels. Below you will find a table on the minimum number of cosmos points that have to be used to perform a cosmos attack. The number of cosmos points used will be added to a character's damage points to get the total amount of damage that attack can inflict on an enemy.

Attack Level
Minimum # of Cosmos Points Needed
First level 10
Second Level 20
Third Level 30

Take note that these numbers are the MINIMUM number of cosmos points that are needed to execute the attack. A character is more than welcome to use more cosmos points in the attack. Again, to get the total damage that a cosmos-aided attack can inflict, add the characters current damage points to the number of cosmos points used in the attack. Ever cosmos point used in attack will be deducted from a character's total amount of cosmos points available. Thus, it is possible for a character's cosmos to go down to zero. When this happens, there are two options available. See Regenerating Hit Points and Cosmos for more information.

Cosmos can also be used for defending. Just indicate that you wish to use your cosmos to help in defense. Doing so will momentarily double one's defense points for the duration of attack you are defending against. Cosmos points will NOT decrease if it is used for defending.

.

.

Regenerating Hit Points and Cosmos

Both Hit points and Cosmos points can be regenerated anytime. To do so would mean that one's character must lose a turn or in other words, may not be able to defend or attack. Hit points and cosmos points can be regenerated at the same time. Each turn lost due to regeneration will recover 10 points for both hit points and cosmos points.

What if your character dies

If this happens you have the option of either bringing your character back to life or making a new character. If you chose to bring your character back to life you will have to ask the game masters if it is permissible. For a character to come back to life your body must first of all be intact so that your character's soul can come back to it.

If the game masters approve of your decision to bring your character back to life, the next step is for your character's soul to pray/plead to your god or goddess to bring you back. In the absence of a player role playing your god/goddess, you have to turn to the game masters again and we will act as your god/goddess for the time being. Take note however, that it is possible for Hades to interfere in this process and you might end up having your character come back to life but serving Hades instead.

To those playing gods/goddess, there are limitations in bringing someone to life. Doing so will completely drain your character of cosmos for at least one day. Furthermore, your character has to be in fairly good health(your hit points are not low)and your cosmos must be at its peak (you need all 200 cosmos points to revive a character)
