XINU Directory Entry

Each file has a single directory entry which contains:

• The name of the file (a null-terminated string)
• The length of the file in bytes
• A pointer to the first index block for the file

The directory also contains other information (global information not related to any one file). This include the number of iblocks on the disk, a pointer to a list of free data blocks, a pointer to a list of free index blocks, and the current number of files on the disk.
