Afterall, who is this princess?

The one that is a little neglected in the anime series is Princess Fireball or Kakyuu-hime (in japanese) , the princess of the StarLights. Afterall, who is she? And where did she come from?

Kakyuu, since the appearence of the SarLights, has been misteriously introduced to the series. She is the princess of the planet Kinmoku, the StarLights home planet, and its ruler. When Galaxia came after the star seeds of its inhabitants, Kinmoku was destroyed, and Kakyuu left the planet to hide on Earth, the StarLights leaving behind her.

On Earth, she was hiding from Galaxia on an incense burner, that only let out that "smell" so familiar to the StarLights, while they tried by all means to contact her. In the battle against Lead Crow and Tin Nyanko, the incense burner is involved and Kakyuu finally makes her appearence, saving Sailormoon from death.

The StarLights are rejoiced from their meeting with the princess, and they are now happy... but their joy doesn't last for long, and Galaxia comes for Kakyuu's star seed, killing her too. The StarLights exasperate, and I think I have never seen such a beautiful death on all of anime (except the death of the senshi on the first series and the death of Uranus&Neptune).

In the end of SailorStars, Kakyuu is revived along with all the persons that died by the hands of Galaxia, and returns with the StarLights to Kinmoku.

Other Facts

Kakyuu also transforms into a senshi, Sailor Kakyuu, in the manga. Her attacks are done with Tarot Cards (StarLights Straight Royal Flush), and with olive tree blossoms (Kinmoku Fusion Tempest).

Kakyuu is quite of inlove with Seiya.. but he is inlove with Usagi...
