Since its inception in 1997, this web site has remained largely unchanged, which explains the old design style. Updated elements include my photo, that for-sale link (at the top of the front page) which I'm allowing to live (haha), and of course this comment.

1997:
The initial construction of this web page lasted from Friday, October 3, 1997 to the following Monday early morning. It has been designed with ergonomics and the human user in mind. The wallpaper has been designed with low contrast for more relaxed viewing, controls (links) have been designed to be intuitive, and above all, each image has been compressed as much as the demand of image quality allows.
Of course, I'm sure this page is far from perfect. Please inform me of any display problems you experience and anything you don't like about this page. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated. You'll be surprised how difficult it is for me to spot any bug with my browser!
