USS Wayne
American attack submarine number 593, captained by Commander Carter, that was assigned to track the Liparus. It ends up rather closer to its target than planned when the sub is captured by the modified supertanker. After its escape, the Wayne is sent to destroy Atlantis - Bond persuades its commander, Carter, to hold off the attack for an hour so that he can rescue Anya. (TSWLM)
