Sugizo is the lead guitarist of Luna Sea. He also brings another distinct sound into their music. He plays the violin in a multitude of songs. He has been playing the violin since he was three years old.

He came from a very musically talented family, but his parents were more in to the big band and jazzy styles, and discouraged Sugizo from rock music. Hmm, guess they weren't too successful, luckily for the rest of us.
