Words ending in ts will have those last two letter truncated
when prefixed to another word. Thus:
|
dedants (different) |
dedanchaats (mismatched) |
|
degants (defeated) |
deganchaats (wreck) |
|
gilts (capture) |
gilzarn (sound reception) |
When words are prefixed/suffixed, if two vowels become adjacent, the second
vowel will be dropped. Thus:
|
utomi (see) + eskes (understand) |
utomiskes (display!) |
There seems to be, at this point, no clear rules as to prefix/suffix appropriation.
It appears to be up to the individual speaker. Adding eskes to
a verb appears to make a command out of it. Thus while utomi is
best translated as see, utomiskes seems to
represent the command display.
