Part 7: The Third Interlude
"I am NEVER going to listen to your directions EVER again!" Ranma screamed.
"Bweee!" Ryouga squealed back.
"Oh shut up!"
Ran-chan jumped over the edge of a fallen tree and down an embankment. The cold was beginning to bite through his fear. Maybe there was something to being female and afraid at the same time. No, Akane would knock him through the roof is she ever heard him think something like that. His chest hurt from all the running.
Jeez, you'd think I'd be used to that feeling by now, he thought.
Ryouga squirmed from atop his perch on Ranma's head. She had decided that it was the best way to run. Being a pig had at least this advantage. And run they had to, for they heard a rumbling roar from behind them. Ran-chan picked up the pace a notch or two.
"Of all places, why Siberia? Huh Ryouga? You mind telling me-"
Another roar, but closer.
"BWEEEE!" He said.
"Aw, shut up will ya? If we make it to the tree line, we can lose it in the trees." She said, cresting a small hill.
"Bweee?"
"Yes! Now shut up and hold still. You're the one who wanted to pet the "pretty kitty", remember?
"Bwee-"
ROAR!
The wind was cold, but he'd manage. He always had. Against Nazi's, and American's and Afghani's. He looked up and saw someone barrel out of the forest. Yuri Gularin had thought he'd seen it all. Fought in 3 wars. Raised 9 children, 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.
Yet through it all, this was the first time he could ever say he'd seen a busty red-haired girl with a cute yellow bandana-clad black pig sitting on her head being chased by a full grown Siberian tiger.
Yuri heard them scream into the distance. He sighed and mussed his oxen team onward.
