Iria is a bounty hunter in the future, where bounty hunters are organized and abide by a set of rules (I guess they're sort of like cops:). Eventually, her and her bounty hunter brother get a job to retrieve cargo from an attacked space ship. Little do they know, the cargo is an immortal monster the government created. The monster, Zieram, seems to be the villain in the series (he reminds me of Jason Vorhees: silent, virtually unstoppable, and a heartless killer). note: the picture above is Iria and Zieram fighting.

Though I've only seen "Iria and Zieram the animation" and not the series, what I saw had very little violence and virtually no sexual content. Go buy this one! It's good!
