An orphan, Duo was raised by the "Sweeper Group," a collection of nomads who orbited the space
colonies, rather than living inside them. His talkative, open nature, while allowing him to make friends easily, can get on other people's nerves--especially those of psychopathic Gundam pilots. When piloting the Deathscythe, he revels in his ability to cause destruction. Outside of the cockpit, however, he's a normal
teenager--compared to the other Gundam pilots, at any rate.
