Ami is the daughter of a pictor and a doctress, actually divorced. She's a genius for her age (Her Q.I. is higher than 150) and she's completely devoted to study, to become a doctress as her mother. We can say the Sailor Mercury role, for Ami, could be fastidious, but, when she was offered a choice between studying in Germany to reach her final desire and the Sailor Team, she chooses this one. Timid, reserved, school genius (she's always the first at every test at school), show her feelings with difficulty, but with a cyclone as Usagi at her side, she perhaps finds her first really true friend. In the moments when the Sailor Team is in difficulty, her support is alwais punctual, also thanks to the Sailor Computer that Luna gives her.
