A day, going to school, Usagi meets a group of children who is teasing a little cat. Se succed in making them escape, and saves the little female cat which has a plasteron on the front. Under this plasteron a half-moon sign is concealed... When the cat, named Luna, introduces herself to Usagi by talking, the girl can't believe what is happening, until the cat gives her the first transformation brooch, which allow her to transform into Sailor Moon. Clumsy girl, a little studying, Usagi, at the beginning, wouldn't like to be Sailor Moon, but with the guide of Luna and discovering other friends, predestinated to be Sailor Senshi too, Usagi accept her role and fights, until the last, great battle, where she wins without fighting, using as her only weapon, the love.
