Aqua in Oz :

Last weekend was Aqua weekend here!!!!!!!

On Saturday:
Aqua were on the "House Of Hits" show and they sang "Cartoon Heroes", and after that Lene and Claus were interviewed. Then after that they were on the "Russell Gilbert Show" where they sang "Around The World".

On Sunday:
Aqua performed at Darling Harbour. There were about 10,000 people there and they sang seven songs: "Cartoon Heroes", "Freaky Friday", "We Belong To The Sea", "Halloween", "Bumble Bees", "Around The World" and "Barbie Girl". They were also presented with two gold discs during the concert. Some of the concert will be on TV on Friday night so I might be on TV since I was near the front!

Smash Hits (December 1998) :

What went on behind the scenes as the stars rehearsed for the Smash Hits Poll Winners' Party? We caught all the gossip in the build-up to the big day...

Aqua are the next to show their faces, and Lene immediately asks where our Smash Hits snapper bought his cool Silas jeans (New York, as it happens). Meanwhile, Rene throws popcorn at Soren. Scott Five heads straight over to chat, and to ask Lene if she'll give his dad a snog! She does.

During the dress rehearsal, there's a moment of panic when one of Aqua's fire breathers sets fire to the stage! An extinguisher sorts out the problem, thankfully. "We came, we burnt down the stage, we went home!"cackles Rene, mischievously.

There were also Steps, 911, Cleopatra, B*Witched, Five, WestSide and the others

Smash Hits (December 1997) :
RENE AQUA

"I had nits when I was younger and the shampoo you used to wash your hair smelt like poo!"
"I'd like to swap places with Bill Clinton just for the day - that would be interesting!"

San Remo 2000 :

I've seen the 50th Festival in San Remo last day. There were many Italian singers plus special guests and Aqua were among this ones. They performed 'Cartoon Heroes'. Unfortunately it wasn't live perfomance.

Claus was wearing a black t-shirt and  black trousers with a white belt, Soren was in black too except a white shirt, Rene was in blue jeans and a white shirt, he weared a red glasses, Lene was in a white blouse, black trousers, hat and a green tie... This performance wasn't very good for me, coz they
(Aqua) were too calm/composed. Before they were more crazy and all that, I think,
and I likes them in that much more. But Rene as before shaked a cam or rather turned it to the audience. In the end Rene and Lene said somth in Italian and English. I heard only Lene's "Thank you Italy", the other words were drowned by interpreter.

Yesterday I knew how old is Rene's daughter! :) In 1998 she was 8.
